Of course they take it seriously. They believe that you can change your sex by declaration. That is the epitome of magical thinking. And why there's a complete and total meltdown when they find out their bible was written by a heretic.

Every time I see people complaining about a Rowling' comment I laugh. She doesn't give a fuck. Fun fact: Rowling included a MTF character, Phillip "Pippa" Midgley, in The Silkworm (2014, written under the pseudonym of Robert Galbraith). "Pippa" is treated as a woman by every other character. Nobody clocks him until he is asked to show an ID card, which happens to use his deadname. The one instance of bigotry against "Pippa" that occurs in the entire book is treated as a horrible act. On the other hand, "Pippa" also happens to be a volatile "aspiring author" who stalks the main character and attempts to stab him TWICE, and also uses the term "transgendered" as a self-descriptor, which, if I remember correctly, is not woke at all.

I need a citation. Im 90% sure this is bullshit in attempt to justify their biased statistics with mtf troons having it worse than real women.

It's a distortion of statistics. They're more at risk because there's fewer proportionally. Similar claims keep being made about the murder rate, but trans deaths from suicides and mass attacks get rolled in to inflate numbers.

According to that link, 1 in 2 transgender people experience sexual assault in their lifetime. I bet the majority of them are the FtM. And it is quite possible that the rape happened pre-transition and was directly responsible for the gender dysphoria and desire to become a man in order to be less vulnerable. Of course, men who were raped/molested as kids may well end up with confusion about their gender.

Other cases may be where a transgender woman goes to prison. If he is housed with his sex, there is an increased likelihood of rape. Likewise, a transgender man would face risks if she was housed with the sex she identifies with.

Black Transwomen face the most risk. Mostly due to sex work and also due to homophobia in the black community.

And, let's face it, troons lie. There's a good chance that more than a few of these just did not happen.

But what if it is mean words said by real people to you, can you disconnect yourself from reality ? That's what they should do, Evolution doesn't have time with their non-sense.

The "trans murder rate" they constantly parrot without citation is a myth.

Trans crime victims are actually vastly underrepresented in comparison to the rest of the population. They inflate extremely low numbers of trans violence incidents by claiming that if any transgender person is involved in any crime - including ones THEY COMMITTED - it's "violence against trans people."

According to them, when a trans prostitute murders "her" wife, it's a case of "violence against trans people."

There's a similar case to be made about the notorious ~41% number. I know we all like to trot out that statistic to make fun of troons, because we believe it supports our point that they're mentally ill, but it's suspect as well.

There's a reason you literally never, ever see a citation for it. That's because it is based on a study of a bunch of people who self-report being trans self-report being suicidal.

Few things I really just need to say since there isnt many other places I can say this.

Male to female trans lesbians are almost always rapey and sexual predators who believe they are entitled to woman and especially straight woman, "CIS" Lesbains are often also this way so its somewhat understandable the behaviour is enabled.

also Contrapoints sure as fuck set a super low bar for what "passing" means and really gives these ugly ones a sort of idea that they could possibly reach it despite Contra not passing anymore than Brianna Wu or Yaniv does.
