I wouldn't put it past Ethan that he reported Gokunaru's video to jewtube as "harassment". He must have tried to take it down since it first came out, but back then YT had no grounds to do so. I mean, we're talking about the guy who blacklisted "gokunaru" in his podcast chat. Also remember, they sat down to talk with Susan Wojcicki months ago; I speculate she asked what changes they wanted to see in the platform and gave them some insight about upcoming stuff, and they promised to not criticize YouTube anymore. And now, he had a very prominent spot in this year's YT Rewind. Looks like all that bootlicking finally paid off!

The H3 podcast is still pulling more than 650k views per video on average and I don't understand how that is even possible.

What a surprise, all the youtubers who sold their soul to Susan Wojcicki had a prime spot in the Rewind. :thinking:
 

Mostly talks about a lot of other videos being removed, though I do like how he pointed out how Gokanaru's video was taken down. It's been said before, but I'll say it again: It's really ironic with how H3H3 got their start criticizing and making fun of others, yet now can't take any criticism themselves. They need their good pal Susan to silence the dissenters.
 
Thinking about how the videos on Leafy and Ethan were taken down by the new policy, Ethan is basically doing all the things Idubbbz criticized Leafy for—backstabbing people and being unable to take what he dishes out when he got popular for videos making fun of others. Which is also very ironic when Ethan was one of the first commentary youtubers to call Leafy out. Turns out he's the same except with a fupa instead of no chin.

I think that Ethan probably got the Leafy video taken down too given he was in the video during a skit and probably did it to suck up to Susan.
 
Slightly updated the thread, included links to archival copies of Gokanaru's video and a few formatting changes. I was in the middle of writing a new thread on some bald dude with glasses, but it appears I have to put my efforts into this first. Expect a newer version of the OP by the end of this week.

Even in the early days the podcast was still struggling a bit. Good example being their second one with Pewds hasn't even gotten over 500k views after two years (Philly D's first appearance barely netted 300k views). it really bounced around until they had guests that they sync'd with (iDubbbz, Joji, Boogie) or people they mentioned from their main channel vids (Hugh Mungus, Fricked up Dentist).

It's also worth noting they haven't broken a million views in a month since they interviewed that wannabe transexual.
