They aren't worth it. None of them are.

I've come to realize that everyone sucks at the end of the day unless they can be rational.
I'm not a rational person sometimes so I suck too but I own it.

I'm just so over ever single community. KV, ISWV, any online gathering place besides KF and even here there are some people that I'd go out of my way to avoid irl.

Stick to people you generally see eye to eye with and ignore the rest.

From where I'm looking, the ones suffering the messiah complex are the insane lunatics crusading against an innocent man because they are so full of themselves and have such an inflated sense of entitlement that they actively witch hunt people who have the audacity to disagree with them about literally anything. You know, the ones that screech about orange man bad and political shit this and political crap that, the ones that hope you get aids and die, the ones who demand you cow tow to their every demand and whim if you don't want them to cancel you because you were being a meanie butt?

Yeah okay, but an old nerd who geeks out about Star Trek, passes out candy to SUPERVISED children for Halloween during his signings (which he is absolutely not obligated to do) and who offers words of encouragement to people going through a hard time is the one with the messiah complex. Sure.
