The finances of serious transition trigger the hell out of me. It's one thing to blow your money on plastic surgery, but with results as bad, ineffective or horrifying as the ones featured in this thread? there are children in africa, etc.

Nothing will scream more "I'm an hypocrite" than someone who yells that Africa/ecology needs monetary help but who decides to blow thousands of dollars on their transition/plastic surgery.

Pretty much the only time wearing your siblings' clothes is okay is if you're the younger one and it's a hand-me down, and even then, brothers shouldn't be wearing their sisters' shit. Ever. Especially without permission.

I can maybe see the reverse happening with a little sister wearing her brother's band tees or something, but opposite-gender sharing is generally pretty weird.

Yeah, they usually trigger the hell out of troon's families, too. These expenses are usually half the reason so many women divorce their trooned-out husbands. Fucking jackasses are spending Junior's college fund on bolt-ons and stink ditches.

I can’t help but wonder if people who make these decisions have just spent their lives being financially coddled by family. I can’t believe that any financially independent person who truly understands the value of owning a house could throw it away to transition.

Disney sperging is gross. They make entertaining, high-quality kids movies, but a bunch of the twitter/tumblr crowd seems to think they're these deep, intellectual works of art (in the same way they think of Harry Potter). They're for kids, Katelyn. It's not a hidden metaphor within a metaphor about something completely unrelated. There may be a little bit of metaphor in some of the movies, but if you stretch so extremely far, you should realize you're kidding yourself.

Lazy? To a point. These things are pumped out about weekly or so. For instance, there was an episode primed and ready to satirize the fact that Hillary Clinton got elected over Trump. When the inverse happened, they had literal days to rewrite and reanimate the entire episode. They managed to get it done just in time, and retitled it as "Oops!" But the animation is generally pretty top notch seeing how simplistic it is. Sometimes I'm blown away how they can pump out an intricate animation sequence and remain topical.

But irrelevant? The only reason this episode was made is because it's topical. That's the exact opposite of irrelevant. The term you may be looking for is "irreverent," which--and this may be surprising to you--has been South Park's M.O. since its creation. Saying it's unoriginal is also meaningless too, as if you watch the show, you'll see that most plotlines and scenarios are just framing devices and set ups for actual jokes. Just because the situation is inherently silly doesn't mean it's an attempt at a joke, otherwise jokes would be a finite supply of ideas.

Actually, upon consideration, he probably just doesn't watch the show. Which is a nice paralell to the offended, undersexed, humorless masses from almost three decades ago who also complained about the show without actually seeing it.
