Bounding Into Comics is a right-wing site. They're one of the many participants in the "Comicsgate" drama, so it's no surprise they wouldn't be sympathetic to Quinn and mention her being a comics writer.

Unusually, most of her knob slobberers are confined to the likes of Reddit and Resetera. Haven't seen anyone high profile swoop in on their horse for her.

She's finally done something she can't escape from, and it's starting to get to her.
Given her own insight that she was required to get back on social media to promote her comics, the "free" marketing provided by paying her a few hundred bucks is the likely reason she gets these minor writing gigs. Now that reach is completely radioactive, and every post she makes is drowning in reminders of why she is bad for business.
What she's really upset about is the one thing she had that was worth something, social media reach, is being devalued by her poorly thought out attention grab. What she really meant by "this is the last time" is that she hopes, HOPES SO HARD that her 3rd attempt at playing the victim for pushing someone to suicide is the last time she'll have to try to spin it.
Not likely, and the media cavalry seems content to sit this one out. Funny how a body count changes things, eh Chelsea?

I think it’s the opposite: Zoe prefers scamming on Kickstarter and Patreon because she’s not expected to do anything there. She likely did the bare minimum on the comics but that still meant she had deadlines, editors, etc. to deal with. She’d love nothing more than keep fleecing her gaggle of soybeards without actually doing anything in return.

TBH I thought the one brightline rule they enforced no matter who you were was not allowing a new campaign until your previous one was fulfilled; the site would basically be fucked if they didn't. Or am I wrong and there cases where this has not been the case?
