I don't know which more is sad the fact that people would excuse a company lying to their faces and go but but Gamefreak good you guys are sheeple or people would be fine with companies being scummy just because others do it. Then again there are people out there who still play fallout 76 no matter what happens to that game.

I really hope this is a big kick in the teeth for Nintendo to right their ship.

It's a Big Ask to have them give their western branch counterpart autonomy like they had from NES to N64, but pokemon exploding and not doing well in America could be the one thing that shakes shit up.

Ideally Nintendo should have more western development teams like they had in the past because as of current they only have some doing mobile game work and not actual console games.

We've actually seen this before with many titles, most recently Fallout 76. The absolute meltdown after people place this trash is going to be a worse trash-fire than you can possibly imagine. If you want a preview watch DSP shilling Shadow of War calling reviewers liars and drama-queens. Then rage quit it and went into an insane diatribe how bad the game was. I imagine this will happen x1000000. It will be glorious.

I'm going to get hit with several mad at the internets, but I don't fucking care. Nintendo fans have to be the faggiest gaming community on the planet that rivals anything from Blizzard, Bethesda, and any other gaming company under the great blood red sun. These are the same fucks that freaked out because a skeleton from a children's game got shoved into another kids game and reenacted the falling of the Berlin Wall.

Sadly, this is the result of "blind" / "Dumb consumerism"... People selling their souls because peer pressure, and lack of conviction. It's funny too, at least I've had some people I know who will buy it still calling out GF/etc. Better than nothing. Too many weak willed people.

the main problem is with the people in a fanbase is the ones that go to public events. why anyone would go to a nintendo store to watch a video they could at home is dumb as hell
