makes sense that Hasbro will try to extend the life of this current gen of its most profitable toyline, even beyond the limits of creative rot. Enough neetbux can buy you just about anything. Chris though? Oh I can't see him liking this one bit.

I just recently introduced an irl friend to Chris and he is convinced that this is somewhat the case. Chris got his wish. The world to some extent or another is aware of him and Sonichu.

It just didn’t turn out like he hoped.

Human protagonist: “What’s with those lightning powers, man? You’re like a Pikachu or something.”

That generation of Hasbro Horseshow was a fluke. Normally kids age out of children's cartoons. What to do when a bunch of manchildren who will never grow up also like said program for liddle gorls?

He liked Equestria Girls because it allowed him to relive his high-school days vicariously, plus it was only a spin-off and not a replacement like the G5 incarnation is. He'd been watching the G4 one for a quarter of his life, so he might harbor this grudge for a while.

And yet, despite the new style, this is literally using the same core cast just like the spin-off. Odds are, he'll change his tone after watching a few episodes. This won't be like Sonic Boom where he hated it and (probably) never played it (which would be good for him, since the game was shit).
