Sorry for being late but was Gokunaru's video just "YOUTUBE ALGORITHM BAD! YOUTUBE DO NOT CARE FOR SMALL CREATORS!" as though this point hasn't been repeatedly made obvious for the past 3 years?

Like Youtube is bad in it's policies but was the point in Gokunaru making that video just to point out the obvious, would've been more interesting to critique as while the drama is technically dead, it's at least better then discussing how Youtube is shit like everyone else on the website has.

The tweets Sound like a fake dispute between the two again. Rusty is trying to help build mumkey back up and they've faked drama for attention many times before this, it's a running joke or some shit. However the sour tweets mumkey left and then instantly deleted on dick's twitter a few days ago aren't fake, he genuinely hates the guy for giving his ex a platform.

He also goes on 30+ minute monologue rants about asinine shit like comments on his videos, has an autistic meltdown if viewers don't enthusiastically support his every descision, quits making certain genres of videos because people don't treat him like an artistic genius, and gets torn apart by other people in actual conversations if he lets people challenge the dumb stuff he says.

Idk if it's autism or just a massively overinflated sense of importance, both are good explanations
 
EDIT: Caught up on the thread. I will watch the SotY and Gokunaru stuff eventually, but it is not a priority for me. Someone else mentioned Gokunaru having caught lightning in a bottle with the h3h3 stuff, and I am more and more inclined to believe it. He is a mid-tier content producer who managed to make the right video at the right time, but his Mumkey documentary seems to show lightning doesn't hit twice.

I still just want to point out...

Nobody has seen the bearded-dragon since he bought it.

Mumkey killed the innocent lizard.

while the new gokunaru video was certainly nowhere near as good as the first one, I think that he still has a lot of potential since he puts a tremendous amount of effort into his work. im sure if you looked at any decent youtube's early stuff you'd probably come away disappointed. hopefully he's got room to grow.

it would have been a lot more interesting if he actually got into the recent lore with Liu

Maybe this is him trying to develop a network in order to grow as a youtuber or fatten up his patreon. If you put the knife in mumkeys back other youtubers will be forced to take a side. But if you make a "YOUTUBE BAD" video all of the creators will agree with you
 
The Gokunaru video was disappointing. I didn't even click it for a few days in my recommends because I didn't think it was the mumkey video, just some 'youtube is terrible' video treading old ground. Which...it was. It was well edited and informational if you're totally out of the loop, but I was expecting a summary of events in Mumkey's life/this thread for normies.

I listened to it for like 40 minutes at work and he was still on his completely unrelated tangent about pedophiles when I gave up. I get the feeling he wants us to feel bad for Mumkey? Which, I did....til everything else happened. Youtube unjustly terminating his channel may have sent him down this path, but it doesn't justify cheating on your girlfriend with a pedophile.

Does he talk about any of that stuff in the last 20 minutes?
