Yeah, this is very true. I guess I was just imagining it like how ex-scientologists and jehovahs witnesses will keep an eye on people still in the cult and reach out if they see someone who wants out.

So everyone wants and desires SRS, which has no complications whatsoever, because why would it? SRS is the process of transforming your earthly body into a glorified one. And also at the same time there's the 41% keeping their tennis shoes on because they bout to Heaven's Gate.

SRS is awesome and cool and has no complications whatsoever and then people who get the stink ditch installed just kill themselves and it's society's fault I guess.

The thing that really rubbed me the wrong way about this post is that I saw it because a girl I went to high school with posted it. She was a stereotypical blonde girly girl with a conservative, Catholic upbringing. In high school, she was really into the Disney Marvel movies and the Superwholock circlejerk, and all of the slash shipping that comes with it. I went to her page, and sure enough, she identifies as "FtM" now. If I had a dollar for every yaoi/superwholock-obsessed girl who later trooned out, I'd have enough money to buy a small country.

The argument in the comments, while it reads like a bunch of squabbling hens, does raise a good question: if "transmeds" are wrong and trooning isn't caused by "body dysphoria", and if the OP posits that "FtMs" are free to act literally as any stereotypical girl would, then what the fuck makes a person trans? Literally "sexual fetish" is the only explanation at the point, since their retarded logic has ruled everything else out. These people are like crabs in a goddamn bucket. They can't agree on what their affliction is or what causes it, yet they still posit that they're the most oppressed people in America.

Hon is short for "honey" and it's used as a slang term for a non-passing MtF. It originated from reddit hugboxes like r/transpassing where they don't dare to tell someone they don't pass so instead they shower them with condescending platitudes.
