Man, Big Mouth is a weird fucking thing. On it's surface, it has some good ideas. 'Propaganda' aside, the execution is one of the most disgusting cartoons I've seen in a long time, and just because that's the intent doesn't mean it's good. And, frankly, most of it's jokes fall flat.
A girl dealing with her dad having his wife cheating on him with another woman while the mother cannot comprehend why the daughter is upset with her? Great idea for a story. Horrible execution that seems to weirdly take the side of the mother in this scenario. Which you can certainly do well, but this just came off as a weird way to blame men for women cheating.
Studying the difference between two kids brought up in radically different environments, one super open about sex and one the complete opposite? Interesting concept, but not well written and made by people who don't understand teenage male sexuality whatsoever.
One kid whose home life is just the worst but who doesn't seem to realize it, and how that's affecting his views of normality. Now that's a plot you can work with, but it's glossed over in favor of him being bisexual and mainly just played for laughs when drama would have been more poignant and interesting.
So, what we as an audience are left with is nothing more than a vehicle for the worldviews of weirdos who can't tell a joke, can't capitalize on the few good ideas they had, and really want to educate you on what is right while getting so much other stuff wrong.
This is why I don't trust 'critics', they care more for social issues and shit then actually making good shows and films these days.

That incest plot line in the new season is a whole new level of fucked though. I enjoy it like I enjoy reading up on lol cows and the weird shit they do.

That's why I watched it too, it's almost like an unintentional horror thing. I have not caught up on it, that sounds fucking nuts.
Which characters are doing the incest? I hope to God it's not presented as a good thing.

Andrew & his cousin. I think there's like 2 episodes about it. I say it's mostly negative with Andrew trying to justify incest.

Stone Man Syndrome
