I think people are being willfully delusional about Jazz Jennings just because it feels nice to believe you could tell. If he weren't famous for being transgender and you saw him in public you wouldn't think he was anything but a chubby, average-looking young woman. I've seen group photos of him with his family. He looks a lot like his sister, and more feminine than his mother. Critical features like his jaw, nasal ridge, and glabella totally lack the masculinization that characterizes post-pubertal males. His shoulders aren't delicate, but neither are they distinctively male. He has a prominent forehead, but apparently so do other women in his family, and in any case he's too young to attribute it to male pattern baldness even if he had testosterone.

Disagree. Jazz looks less passable than most post-puberty trannies who had FFS and a boob job when they started after puberty.

Blaire White still looks more passable than Jazz Jennings.

Jazz looks like a eunuch who always stayed child-like and never had the chance to sexually mature.

Valentijn De Hingh is a Dutch transsexual who was also put on testosterone-blockers before going on female hormones. He looks weird as well.

I actually find that those who go through puberty as boys and transition in their late teens, early twenties look more normal than those who medically transition as pre pubertal children.
The blockers stunt their overal growth which causes them to look like neither men nor women.

I also think Jazz is mentally retarded. Can't believe they offered him a place at Harvard. He must be mentally under performing as he never had the chance of experiencing brain maturization like normal kids of his age.

Something that I noticed is that his behavioral pattern is still very masculine. His temper tantrums especially.
He has a mood disorder. He can get aggressive on a whim.
Women do not usually react that way, that's more typical of men.

Valentijn is supposed to be female? I find him kind of hot, in a crossdresser kind of way. He doesn't look like a woman at all lmao. Those drugs did nothing for him.

Awareness, perhaps? I do know menstrual products are in genuine demand in places like homeless shelters, and the effectiveness of birth control on period management are not fully understood by the general public. This just seems to be overcomplicating things/taking away focus on actual period related issues, though...

It's about the stigma. There are still shitholes out there where women have to sleep outside like dogs while on their period and even in the US sometimes poor kids with go to school using socks for pads because their dumbass parents won't buy them period stuff.
But is that what people are tweeting about? Nah. Let's just repeat "Any gender can get their period" ad infinitum until we've successfully brainwashed ourselves into believing it.
