It’s actually funny when these people move out of the hollows and into cities. Because they rely on subsidized housing they end up with black neighbors. Within two years all the women under 40 become a much fatter version of Section 8 Barbie.

CJ was already born (of course). I remember this bc Amber was getting sassy with people saying "Why are these teenagers getting married? Is the bride knocked up?!" and Amber was like, "No boo boo, she already has a baby! 😂 😂 😂"

That’s actually pretty common in southern baptist churches. They usually call them Fellowship Halls and use them for crap like this or serving food after a funeral.

Ah, that makes sense. That area is nearly all indian, pakistani or arab. A friend lived in their neighborhood for a number of years before moving and is now both creeped out that they could have run into these people at a restaurant (OR HOA MEETING!) and relieved that now they won't.

Ann having money would actually make sense. It would explain why Norma took such a shine to her.
