Does the appeals court going "lol no u" to the plaintiff also extend for a defendant appeal?

I'm assuming it's not, and they have to hear it, since the spirit of TCPA would want a defendant's appeal expedited. But I dunno.
 
Chupp is just a wild card at this point, in an anime he would be the insane character who stabs both hero and villain in the back while screaming something edgy like, "ALL FOR MY AMUSEMENT!!" He literally defied all expectations, from KickVic and ISWV alike.

It doesn't extend their deadline. If they miss it, they miss it. They can still appeal the ultimate ruling in the case, but that won't be expedited.
