It's like these people want to be disappointed. This post was made before the DLC pack 2 was announced, but I'm willing to bet he's still holding onto this stupid, melancholy "woe-is-me" attitude because a wooden doll isn't playable even though there's an entire new pack of brand new characters arriving.

What a tool. Even as a person who loves Super Mario RPG, and as much as I would like Geno, I at least understand that Super Mario RPG was a niche game and Geno himself doesn't have any personality or character traits outside of "being wooden and having a gun for an arm."

Also I like how he acts like no one asked for Terry when Terry has been the face of a very popular fighting game series while Geno is literally a literal who character whose only known from people requesting him for Smash

Exactly. Geno isn't iconic of anything. As idiotic as the people wishing for Ashley to get in are, at least Ashley has a major appearance in more than one game.

To be honest, i doubt most Genofags even played SMRPG (same could be said about Shantaefags and Ashleyfags) because if they did, they'd be asking for someone else Mallow, Booster and Croco had much better characterization than Geno did

If anything, i think the people who want characters from FNAF, Fornite or any other flavor of the month indie will get a lot more loud and obnoxious in order to get what they want, with Sans now as skin for a Mii fighter, pretty much anything can happen now

Ironically, this poster proves the biggest flaw in their argument:

They supposedly want more diverse representation in Smash. But that doesn't coincide with that they actually want, which are characters based on popularity instead of a quota. Of course, that doesn't stop them from complaining anyway.

Here's the first page. I really wish there was some way to collectively tell an entire website to shut up.

Really, anyone developing a fighting game would want Undertale for its music rather than the characters. So its a win-win for the team, the fans, and the clickbaiters.

Also, who didnt want Terry in Smash Bros?

Remember this the same community that think a character has to be iconic to be in the game even though its proven time and time again that it doesn't this the same game that feature characters who only appeared in one game and if it wasn't for smash they would going who now Ex : Ice climbers, Rob, Wii fit.

I get that Terry is not a overall well known outside of the fgc and certain countries where kof is popular but acting exceptional because Haven forbid it not a character I like or want so he's a wasted slot is just dumb and remember this the same community that think a character is not a good choice because he or she is not "iconic enough but still want a puppet from one snes game that never made another major appearance since then makes me wonder what is the ground zeros of wanting Geno in the game is.
 
One thing I fucking hate about the SSBU community, is that if you can't tell from my icon, I fucking love video games. Any time I watch a Nintendo Direct, and they announce a cool game, like a new Donkey Kong Country, or a new IP or literally anything else, I'll check live chat like "Oh I wonder what everyone else thinks of this.", and its just "SMASH" "WHERES SMASH???" "DIXIE KONG SMASH???" "SMAAAAAAASH". Like holy fuck, for a game about other games, why does the fandom not care about anything else?

These people seem to love the "surprise" and excitement of Smash trailers, yet when anything gets announced that wasn't leaked beforehand, they hate on it because it wasn't what they expected.

Imagine effort posting on something that the Nips couldn't care less about. Also, who in their right mind (answered my own question here) would want a character from a drama narrative based point and click game in smash?
 
Shantae would have been a good choice, but 2-B would have been an excellent choice. Hard to believe that game came out only 2 years ago.
 
Ok so I am ultimately PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW because my STUPID INSENSITIVE BIGOT OF A SCIENCE TEACHER WON'T COVER THE SKELETON IN OUR CLASSROOM!!!! ive told him THOUSANDS of TIMES that i have severe anxiety from sans and ive actually developed ptsd from the sans fight and i have to carry around an inhaler everywhere i go now because when i see bones or the color blue i start hyperventilating because of panic then if i don't take my inhaler it turns into a ptsd episode and i already had to be sent home 3 TIMES BECAUSE THE SKELETON IN MY SCIENCE CLASS TRIGGERED ME!!!!! AND HE WON'T COVER IT!!!!!!!!! like?????? i don't know what to do ive tried talking about it to the councilors but they said my condition isnt real???? like um YEAH IT IS??? i would know????????? cause i wake up screaming and in tears each night because i have a reaccuring nightmare where SANS TELLS ME I'M GOING TO HAVE A BAD TIME THEN HE HAS THE FUCKING DECENCY TO TELL ME I'VE DIED TEN TIMES, AND THAT I HAVE NO FRIENDS!! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT FUCKING TRIGGERS ME???????? and it just PISSES ME OFF how the school doesn't even CARE THAT I AM ON THE BRINK OF ODING BECAUSE OF THIS!!!
