Im off to replay the old republic games and confirm how much more canon they are to me.

The goofiest part of the new leak is that the characters have to go through so much trouble to reprogram C-3PO just to get him to read some Sith chicken scratch off an old knife, and that in order to do so, they have to travel everywhere and then put a tiny alien that looks like an elderly Crazy Frog inside his head to rewire him which makes his eyes go red and turns him evil due to evil sith alphabets.

Notably, C-3PO's evil look is a copypaste of C-3PX's from the 90s Dark Horse comics.

Does nu-Lucasfilm really think this is enough to get old fans interested? Normalfags will think it looks weird and won't understand the context or origin, and old fans who knew about this won't care because Disney content sucks and its not even the same character, just more hollow member berries that don't mean anything, although its weird that they picked something as obscure as C-3PX to reference.

There's definitely something fishy going on with how Disney's been managing this shit and responding to people. All of a sudden I'm seeing way less hate articles and russian bot bs, and now Kennedy is talking about how she loves fans and negative feedback. They're clearly worried since just a year ago even JJ was hating on fans claiming that people were just intimidated by stronk wymen, now the guy's singing a completely different tune. Are they trying to butter up to fans with empty sugar-coated words that mean nothing in order to advertise a movie that was made with zero attempt to appeal to anyone other than themselves and their business partners?

Its almost...ALMOST...like insulting the fans has really back fired and they are feeling it (no one is buying their shit and the excitement for Rise of Skywalker outside of SJW disney wanker blue check mark people group is practically ZERO. The Fandom Menace didnt have to do anything, just let things be...). Star Wars is dead on the big screen (trust me, after this, they are taking a hiatus and after them making it clear they will focus on their crappy streaming service shows now, the chances of seeing star wars back on the big screen are grim...).
Disney has manage to DESTROY the culture around Star Wars...and they say you cant destroy icons.
But pre-disney Star Wars lives on with us, the real fans. The ones that paid money for the toys, movies and games (not those hair colored land whales that couldnt spend a dime off their socialist gender studies empty pockets...)

I somewhat agree but you see, its very clear they truly dont know how to make Rise of Skywalker works, as we have seen very little of the actual movie in fact...the recent trailer was just shots of the older movies (as if like "hey guys, remember when you actually used to like Star Wars? Before we bought it? Good times...!") and just a few shots of the actual new movie (and dont throw me that garbage of "they dont want to spoil it" or else they wouldnt have shown "Dark Rey" ). Leaks also been showing that test screenings are NOT enjoying the movie at all and they are despered and using all of the ideas to stitch together a "satisfying" conclusion.
Now I dont think all of them are true (not fully at least), but after the last jedi and how Lucasfilms made sure they know they hate us (but not our money) and that they can and will blame us if it fails, Im worried there may be some truth in them.

I think some of the beats are correct. But, it seems mixed in with conjecture. Thats, the general pattern of all the leaks. So, what is true and what isn't(at this point) is hard to decipher, especially stuff like Rey being a Palpatine.

Could be true, or it could be complete bullshit like the reports that(previously)were mostly accurate. But, they were all wrong that Rey was a Skywalker, despite being overwhelmingly confident..

Even though I don't think the movie is going to be very good, I get a bit guarded when it comes to some of the 'insider' youtube channels('Geeks and Gamers'). Keep in mind, they sell nerd rage. They will exaggerate or overdramatize to appeal to their selected audience.

So, what is mediocre, now becomes an excercise in hyperbole....

Not saying things aren't a mess(in regards to the film), but to what degree...I can't say for sure....

If I take the leaks from MSW, the movie sounds like a big whatever. If I take the leaks from reddit as 100 percent true, the movie sounds like a cataclysmic dumpster fire. But, I think thats unwise...

First thing that comes to mind when concerning Gundams and Star Wars is that Transformers+Star Wars toy line from many years back which weren't really part of a story or anything, just some neat toys.

Oh shit yeah, I still have my Palpatine/Imperial Shuttle Transformer standing in my shelf. The build quality of the toy was somewhat middling with heavy joints and some dumb design choices, but it was cool and fun to play with nonetheless. I really have to look for the thing's Lightsaber one day, unfortunately it went missing.

And yes Death Star Destroyers are a thing, something resembling them already appeared in Disney canon, a toy leak from IX confirmed their existence and the Star Destroyers from the trailer have the same laser "crevice" in their center.

Only one I ever really wanted was the Falcon transformer, but all I ever got at the time was the Boba Fett/Slave I transformer. I grew to like it, but the chest/cockpit always looked a bit awkward.

I'm guessing this is another attempt at making a copycat 501st. And speaking of the 501st, the fan club has gotten into a lot of drama lately, with some well known members Ray Park and Daniel Logan leaving due to the group becoming too political, Disney-focused, business-focused and no longer fun, and a female member getting pissed off on twitter over the Fandom Menace making a silly Skeletor-knockoff of the 501st logo. She and her cronies then tried to harass the artists and fans online but when the fans struck back, she claimed the stress from online "trolls" forced her into the hospital.

Also the orange X-Wing from the leak I mentioned ages ago has finally been confirmed via a Hot Wheels toy. Its supposedly Rey's or Poe's. Now to wait for Hot Wheels to send their own lawsuit letter to Kiwifarms after Lego.

Hey motherfucker, are dissing my boi Kyle? Guy is a fucking bounty hunter AND Jedi Knight that helped Luke Skywalker bring the Jedi Order back.......but yeah, I do agree, him just walking in and grabbing the plans didnt made for great storytelling. Rogue One was better, you win that one, Disney.
Kyle is still one of the most badass EU characters tho, guy packs an arsenal, lightsaber AND the force (a fucking Jack of all trades). But meh, post-Sideous Siths couldnt compare to the old ones (Rule of Two FTW), no wonder they were easily taken out (they were not even Sith but "Dark Jedi"...guess the term Sith wasnt a proper thing yet.)

There are people who can make a pretty decent livelihood with writing like this. Just think about it for a while. Feels revolting, doesn't it?
I don't know, some of you might write as a hobby too. Shit like this reveals what you need and don't need to make it as an author nowadays. Getting into writing for licences like Star Wars has been notoriously hard in the past, nowadays you just need to know the right people in this nepotist SJW industry and boom, you're golden. Think about how many genuinely passionate, caring and creative people would die to be allowed to write an official Star Wars book or even be on Disney's creative board, instead Disney execs choose their hack SJW friends who couldn't care less about good writing, let alone the franchise they're writing for.
