A good example of how bad John is can be found in these two videos, if it'll help you form a better opinion on him.

In this one, for example, his tone is quite mature for the most part and attempts to give some decent advice.
However, the next one he did addressing trolls completely destroys the image he was trying to build up in the video above:

He acts much more emotionally in this one - and that's not a good thing. Not only is he giving in to what his "haters" want him to do, but he pretty much undermines the points he makes in the first video.
Hope this helps a bit!
Thanks a lot for these!
I noticed some little snippets he said that definitely show his attitude.
"Do reviews still because... "it keeps people waking up in the morning." Umm... I've seen and anticipated reviews that were really, really worth it but I don't think it'd be healthy for someone to continue life just so they can see your newest video.
"Even if a troll has valid reasons for disliking your videos, beyond them disagreeing with your opinion, it isn't worth listening to." He says because the chances are someone said the same thing but in a more civilized manner, which I understand, you're gonna get upset when someone is speaking or sounding rude to you. But if a troll is giving you legit reasons to fix something or why they had 'valid reasons' for not liking your video... isn't that constructive criticism? He then shows a list of what are valid/invalid comments to tell the differences... which his examples are terrible. He tried to explain that trolls are the ones giving NO criticism, just insults, but goes on to say they can have 'valid reasons' that you shouldn't listen to. It's not very consistent and sounds like he just doesn't like receiving tough love when people are probably frustrated by his poor choice of wording.
Then he goes on with a very immature rant on trolls and trolling. I can understand the frustration, dude, but this is a video about keeping calm. Keep... calm. Then he says he gets complaints about his MLP addiction but is surprised that the complaints 'aren't from trolls'. So what makes a troll, Mr. Enter? People who have different opinions than you? People who don't like how/what he reviews are listed in his "reasons I'm hated/trolled." I can completely believe a bunch of spergs whine about him having different opinions but... he's essentially doing the exact same thing, here. People CAN and WILL get tired of some jokes, preferably MLP, which is mainly because the hype for it is so strung out that even fans are tired of hearing about it. The same as when people do an LP of a video game that EVERYONE ELSE is reviewing at the same time... and they're being biased about how great the game is just because they like it.
For the second video: he handles the other man's beautiful videos and writing with a completely flat, linear opinion that any sort of teasing or 'trolling' online means you are one of those same people who makes vile, mind-numbingly disturbing posts online or has bullied someone into suicide. Using emotion during a review can make it better, but that does not mean your emotion should be uncontrolled. Enter is using his emotions to say "this guy doesn't like trolling, I don't like trolling." He's not looking deeper into it, he's just saying "people bother other people because they suck." No, not really. Lots of times it's to call people out, to get others to stop being actual dangerous sources to more sensitive people. (Though again, just get off the internet if you can't handle it. Example: I never comment on youtube because I don't want to get rude replies or to see other people's comments.) People like Vade are not helpless individuals. Any and all lolcows we encounter could easily ignore any trolling but they refuse to. There is a difference between going on your computer to reply to hateful emails and being forced to go to school and unable to get away from a gang of kids ready to beat you into a pulp. Internet bullying IS real, but again, no one handles it correctly and tries to make it into a wildfire instead of focusing on the legitimate problems.
Enter wants an excuse to validate his immaturity towards handling online strangers who are mean to him. He can't be the better person if he constantly is saying "you're mean, stop giving me your opinion! This is why it's okay for me to give opinion but say your opinion is you being a troll!" I get what he's trying to say, and I know the topic itself is up for debate, but he is NOT the person to discuss it or act like he can give us all a clearer understanding of it when he himself is not understanding it.
Oh and most of the video is him pointing out the obvious from the other guy's lines like we couldn't even follow. Nasty people have existed since the dawn of man, but internet made it easier for them to be noticed. This is not a new epidemic, this is not a new age. Psychopaths and dickwads have been among us for thousands of years.
