Well...at least he's whining about a character that was overrepresented at EVO needing a nerf. Although Wario still doesn't need a nerf, he just has good tools for a very generalized character. Getting hit with a full waft at 5% is just the character, especially since Wario lives or dies by his goofy fart mechanic. Getting hit with a bite offstage is 100% your own fault, though, since that's a hard read (and a very good one at that) which leads into the Wario accidentally killing himself if it misses. He went for high risks, he got high rewards. If the Wario's up a stock and you're on your last, of course he's going to go for dumb options since he can get away with it. You didn't get gimmicked, you got outplayed.

Worth noting is that Myran is an Olimar player. Olimar is known for being both boring to watch and frustrating to fight, due to his attacks being quick, disjointed, and difficult to punish. I don't judge people for picking a character to win, you do what you have to. But it's not a good look to start complaining about other people's characters when you play (with no exaggeration) the most disliked character in tournament.

Yeah, he lost to...Bochie I think it was? It was just a few weeks ago and I already forgot. But no, Zack didn't force the L in that scenario. At least, there's no evidence that he did.

MKLeo won the tournament with Joker, and people are crying that he should be nerfed. Except MKLeo was the only Joker in the final brackets, has consistently been one of the top players across multiple Smash games, and made a climb out of losers to win EVO. His opponent also clearly became nervous and begun choking once his losing streak began. MKLeo himself crawled out of losers and nearly lost in a win-or-die scenario, making a one stock to three comeback and a reverse 6-0. That's nuts.

Of course, the logic to counter that Joker would be much more common than a single player using him if he was the most broken character is...that nobody wants to use broken characters to win...or something? You know, instead that you need genetically engineered super thumbs utilizing science from forbidden Nazi human experimentation to use Joker effectively.

We want to emphasise that this ban is not because hero is too strong, but because he is anti-competitive. We believe that tournaments are meant to provide an opportunity for players to demonstrate their skill and that, as a general rule, the player who plays more skilfully should emerge victorious. Hero's design has a very strong potential to de-emphasise player skill which isn’t fair for those who work hard to improve their abilities for competition.

This is about a character who has been out for SEVENTEEN DAYS but apparently they figured out that no one (characters or players) will EVER be able to figure out how to play against Hero - he's just too "anti-competitive". They specifically it's about player skill, but it's way too short of a time for Hero players to develop skills and for other players to develop skills to deal with or counter him.

EDIT - Holy fuck I looked up a Tier List and Hero is #13 - for fucks sake he isn't even regarded as highly as Joker is.
 
Just remember that this is the same community that bans stage for having "DISTRACTING BACKGROUND", or for being "too similar" to another stage (or anything that's even a mild inconvenience.)
Seriously, anyone claiming that Ultimate is pandering to these nitwits are blowing smoke up their ass while wearing rose tinted goggles.

It was, but these faggots are so entitled that they spit on the pandering because they're one of the few fanbases that are actively ungrateful and should be mocked by creators and others alike.

It's only really pandering so much as it gave people the option to actually have battlefield / Final destination / hazardless versions of every stage that's entirely optional, while they continue to work on the party game they want to make. And even, there's still a difference between people that want to play without hazards and items, and the Stanky smelly train wreck that is the tourney scene.
I partially brought this up because of a specific user coming into this thread just to whine about Ultimate, somehow thinking that the devs adding every previous fighter (and heavily requested newcomers) was only meant to please tourneyspergs, and not most people in general.

I have literally never heard of this player before until now, so I'm more than willing to believe this is just some nobody whose only relevancy is the fact that they're transitioning and nothing else. Especially since they're a Melee player apparently, where you're extra irrelevant unless you're consistently top 10 in tournaments.

If this is real, it's disgusting people are using this person's death to soapbox about toxic fans because for all they know this teenage girl probably killed herself because of problems at home. If it's a hoax, it's disgusting someone would do this for attention.

That's the thing. There's zero evidence she's dead or even existed to begin with. As far as I've found, people who apparently didn't even know her said she died. No word from any direct friends or family. No evidence in terms of a new report or obituary. Nothing.

The other thing is, both possible outcomes are insanely pathetic: somebody committing suicide because some obscure character isn't in Smash, or some person faking a suicide because their favorite obscure character isn't in Smash.

Edit: According to somebody who knew her, the news was dropped in a DM via her own account, and she has a history of lying.
