He's not alone with this white supremacist kick either. It seems to be all the rage with far left social justice types. It's also spectacularly stupid because while it may have more kick to it than just calling someone racist, white supremacism is a very specific, very hardline ideology. It's far easier of an accusation to disprove. Not keeping the accusations somewhat vague is going to result in a lot more of them getting BTFO like Waid did with Just Some Guy, and make it far more obvious how crazy/malicious they are. Obvious weasel words may help protect them from legal action, but they're not going to save them from that court of public opinion they love so much.

Is that so? IME, "white supremacist" gets used in the same way as "Nazi," "fascist," etc etc. in the sense of meaning absolutely nothing beyond the speaker's dislike of the person in question. As far as being a "specific, hardline ideology," is there a local equivalent of The Communist Manifesto that forms the foundation of this ideology? If there is, I've never heard of it.

Funny you should mention Nazi, since Nazism does have a "local equivalent" of The Communist Manifesto. It's called Mein Kampf. And while the lowest tier of kooky social justice warrior will call people Nazis left and right, most of the talking heads of the movement and people in actually positions of influence have gradually shied away from using that term towards anyone specifically, because they realized it was damaging their credibility. "White supremacist" is clearly an attempt to get back into the swing of calling everyone a Nazi without immediately being bombarded with ridicule and criticism for it. But it's going to end up the same way.

White supremacy is the belief that white people are racially superior to every other group and should dominate all of society. Racist meanwhile, is just firmly believing stereotypes about different racial groups of people. It's a lot broader. While it may be technically possible to be a white supremacist and be black (Just Some Guy) or have a bunch of non-white former girlfriend baby mamas (Meyer) it's really unlikely, and convincing non-crazy people that it's a legitimate accusation is going to be a much more uphill battle than convincing people that they're just racist somehow.

And convincing a jury that it isn't defamatory and harmful is going to be even more of an uphill battle when you get sued for it by someone who can prove it harmed them.

King Baby is just jealous that Zach got women to have sex with him and didn't have to bribe them with work in the industry to do it.

Time for a more formal post.

On August 09 2019, Waid threw a little tantrum over a parody of his latest comic:

For those of you not keeping up with this book, its about mass shooting victims getting superpowers.

Pretty tasteless imo, but it could work, unfortunately this is the creative team at the helm:

You can read the actual comic here for free:

Or you can choose your favorite reviewer to get a quick run down:

IGNITED #2- Mark Waid & Kwanza Osajyefo's SJW Teen "Heroes" Are Current Terrorists/Future Dictators

IGNITED #3- Is This Pro-Terrorism Propaganda OR A PSA About The Dangers Of Emotional Incontinence?

Just Some Guy has even made a couple videos on it:
Mark Waid Puts (In)Humanity First

Ignited: How to Become a Teenage SJW Dictator

OwO what’s this?:
Ignited: The Far Left Turner Diaries

Gee golly is that?... It is! This is the thumbnail image King Baby is so mad about:

But what’s this? The “borderline white supremacist” was Just Some Guy, a black dude from Chicago?
Mark Waid Calls Black YouTuber a "Borderline White Supremacist"

Just Some Guy even gave Waid a template to apologize for his tantrum:

YBZ weighs in:
FIX.THIS.NOW.- Mark Waid Needs You To Stop Parodying His "Satirical" Comic Book, IGNITED

So why am I making this post? Waid nuked his Facebook... again:
Ignited: Worst Terrorists Ever

No apology was given.

The only post that didn't get nuked:

The "fake text" is obviously intended to convey what the shopper's opinions of the character's actual motivations are, not to convince people that's really what the comic says. There is in fact a fair bit of legal precedent, as I understand it, focused on the fact that something that would be obvious as a joke to the average person cannot fall under the definition of defamation/libel because it should be obvious enough to anyone who's not a drooling downy that it's not meant to be taken seriously. That's how sites like The Onion and Babylon Bee can get away with making articles about actual public figures.

Now, the big question... is Waid really too stupid to understand that it was mockery of his unsubtle fascism fantasy, or is he just pretending to be that stupid because he thinks this way he has a quasi-legal argument and can use this to promote the book? With him I'd say that's a coin flip.

I know I've made this comparison before, but this really feels like something Andrew Dobson would do (and I think has done), and it would be the same uncertainty as to whether he was really that braindead or just cynically using a ploy to try and sic hypothetical fans on his detractors. Waid is, at this point, virtually indistinguishable from a never-was webcomicer who literally lives in his parents' basement.

I don't understand how Waid has accomplished as much as he has being the giant sperg he is. There's a certain reason why others like Dobson and MovieBob haven't gone that far in their career fields.

Waid is like a glitch in the system. Despite maintaining all the personality traits that should have prevented him obtaining success and power in his job, he's managed to acquire just that.

The thing that shielded him was the lack of internet in the early days. Waid’s been in the industry since before every house had a computer, the lack of easy communication basically protected him from people putting it all together in one easy to find place. You’d have probably only a blogsite or a magazine talking about him att.

Now it’s easy access, we can find out everything about any sperg that comes across our path.

Dobbo has enough talent that if he had any work ethic at all, he'd at least have a mediocre career. He's just beyond lazy. I assume Waid at least produces things on time and to spec, much like Chuck Wendig, so they put up with him being a complete sperg.

I think with Waid it's partly, as noted, the fact that he got his start in the days before his behavior could be widely known, but also that once he got himself in there he had the connections, and once you have those and name recognition in the comic industry, it's all momentum. The fact that he's fallen as far as he has... working for some "Who?" indie press churning out transparent hot button issue pandering series that any of the major labels would be embarrassed to put out despite their own leanings... is an indicator of just how toxic he is and has become. There are people with less talent and just as much vitriol that still have ongoing careers in the industry because like him they have the connections and the right opinions, but unlike him they know when to rein themselves in. Waid's ego, however, refuses to stop writing checks that he and his employers can't cash.

Putting up a photo of a black Proud Boy? Is King Baby being subtle for once in his life and still trying to call JSG a "borderline white supremacist" without outright saying it?
You know, I thought of that too. Speaking of which, if this is the interview that article is using it's... exactly what you'd expect. A bunch of "so what you're saying is" leading bullshit that mostly failed spectacularly, but maybe they got enough to cobble together something incriminating sounding. A breakdown from another black borderline white supremacist:

His terrible behavior was notorious for a long time. You don't act like Gary Groth describes on a daily basis without getting a reputation. You don't throw a telephone at Joe Sacco's head in a tard rage and not get known as that kind of person. He was producing enough good output people put up with his shit.

He's gone downhill as SJWism merged with his existing mental illness to turn his product into shit and his shitty behavior has caught up with him, now legally as well as otherwise. He is very stupid to squander his money arguing bullshit about jurisdiction, that he's going to lose, in a case that he's also going to lose, when he has no future.

I hope he'll be happy when he's in some indigent retirement home because he blew his nest egg to lie about some guy and call him a Nazi, and call a black guy a white supremacist, and other insane SJW shit he thinks is worth losing all his money for.
