I told my sister a little about Marijan. When I mentioned that he asked his mom for sex she let out a loud "EW!"
 
I'm reaching the conclusion that Marijan doesn't actually exit. It's so implausible that a human being could check off so many boxes (pro-rape, wants to fuck his mother, racist, Nazi-sympathizer, pro-pedophile, etc.), that I think he is some kind of alien entity that feeds off of disgust. @Holden's true form is an amorphous black cloud that grows stronger as more of humanity focuses its hatred on him.

It's been concluded that Marijan is lying, being lied to, or making stupid assumptions based on a possibly willful misunderstanding of reproductive biology. Best case scenario is she was already pregnant already when he slept with her. Most likely scenario is that he's fantasizing out loud.
