All I'm seeing is some snake giving apples to teacher while the wrong party gets stonewalled over and over again, he got miffed at Ty for needing a hearing for the rule 11 agreement after Ty bent over backwards for Casey.

I don't think Chupp is really trying with this one, seems more and more that running a tight ship meant "getting shit off my docket as fast a possible".

I'm being pessimistic as fuck because I've seen filing after filing where Ty has been a big teddy bear with these people while they try to fuck his case into the dirt, if they don't get this extension there's a good chance they have to pick which one of the 3 TCPAs they want to spend the next week trying to defeat, which seems like the plan of both MoRon and Marchi were trying for with this bullshit because they know they'd sooner go after the big fish with money than 3 poor brainless faggots.

I hear you. I'm just looking at it from the POV that riding Ty's ass is ensuring his case is rock solid. Chupp has given Team Sperg plenty of hints to straighten up and fly right. Now I think he's gust going to let them hang themselves.

Don't forget that regardless, Ty has gotten pretty much everything to his advantage so far. If that comes with a look of being PO'd from the judge, so be it. Maybe I'm wrong and Chupp will hand it all to Team Sperg on a platter. But I just don't see that happening.
