Who is Casey Alexander and why does Mr. Enter hate him? From what I could glean from a few second search is that he worked on SpongeBob from seasons 4-9, and then he went to work on Uncle Grandpa. I don't like the new SpongeBob episodes either, but Uncle Grandpa isn't a bad show. What's his problem with Casey Alexander?

He seems to have a grudge against the recent episodes for being too mean-sprited and over-reliant on gross-out and shock humor. He has said he hated them and wanted them blacklisted and out of their jobs. Pretty much Mr. Enter hates anything with mean-spriritedness and animal abuse. He thinks Patrick from SpongeBob is a monster and went on a rant about him.

There's plenty of material, too bad his account is gone though so it can be revealed

This is one of a few reasons I actually like the underrated Cartoon Hero... When he wrote something on Spongebob, he kept his shit to a minimum of 20 minutes on it, while not letting too much bias get in the way. He's not my most favorite critic, but unlike the guy currently on subject... Yeah.

Not just a rant, but an entire top-ten list was devoted to him and his behavior. And while I do agree some of it is idiotic even by his usual standards. That's pretty much why the character exists in the first place- to be a foil to the not as stupid SpongeBob.

I don't see why Mr. Enter has to be as spergy as he gets when this sort of thing happens.

People don't like seeing stupidity in Western Animation - as someone who watches far too many cartoons... I know I don't. Have to agree, though, Enter does sperg on it a wee bit too much.

I love how we all love Red Letter Media. Seriously, their stuff is just fucking incredible and I can watch it over and over again.

I think actually staying on-topic is where RLM succeeds while others fail. Tons of people have mentioned that the Nostalgia Critic started going downhill when he started incorporating a bunch of sketch comedy into his reviews. I think a lot of other reviewers have that problem; they feel the need to go over the top (either by using sketches or manufacturing faux outrage over why a video game from the 80s makes them want to literally kill themselves). On the other hand, RLM has always been about dissecting a movie; not nitpicking, but rather going over what the movie did right and what it did wrong. The humor comes naturally, especially in the Half in the Bag episodes.

I also love how they tear Nostalgia Critic-esque skits to shreds in Half in the Bag. If you've never seen HitB, the reviews start and end with skits involving two VCR repairmen and a crazy old man... except the sets and props are deliberately cheap-looking, the acting is wooden and overdone, and they ditch the skit itself (sometimes literally mid-sentence) and go onto the review at the first possible moment. The entire thing can be seen as one big "fuck you" to reviewers (like the current Nostalgia Critic) who rely way too heavily on sketch humor instead of actually focusing on the review.

Allright, i'll admit, some sketches, allthough goofy, have made me chuckle. But what are the other two goons of the NC doing, apart from polluting the NC reviews like two drooling siblings he has to "take care of"? Talk about forcing appearances. I have actually turned off most of the latest reviews at the sight of 'em since nowadays they are just that, some people that are just panning the length of his videos. Are they lovers of Doug? Because if Phelous, Spoony and the outcasts were okay to kick out in the cold ,why not those two?

And why yes, i can't be bothered to remember their names.

Are you talking about the two other actors? They're only there because Doug and crew dun goofed with Demo Reel and would've looked bad (lol I know) by kicking them to the curb or maybe they had contracts or something. No idea why they felt the need to fill the female role after the original girl left. Anything involving them is terrible.

Also yes Red Letter Media is basically flawless. I really recommend this Best of the Worst if you're ever feeling down.

I heard somewhere that they are using the game show fiasco to stay hired.

I don't think many people know their names, I doubt even Doug knows by this point.

As for why they're still aboard, I assume it's because of the whole "Doug dun goofed up" thing with Demo Reel.

The reason why Malcolm (black guy) and Rachel (unfunny girl) stuck around was because Doug didn't want to look like an arsehole chucking those two innocents to the kerb. Rachel left because she got a proper acting job, Malcolm does voiceovers on adverts but sticks around for some reason (I guess he likes it?) and Tamara (the slightly funny girl, at least she possesses awareness of comic timing) joined up when Rachel left, I guess so it would shut people up (YOU GOT RID OF THE UNFUNNY GIRL, WHY NOT THE BLACK GUY?)

Man, despite not liking the skits at all, I really like Malcolm. He's got a great and really versatile voice and he can be very funny on his own. It's just a shame he's stuck doing things that nobody wants to see. I hope he gets on with a better gig in the future.

Totally apathetic on both the girls, though.

Oh I agree, Malcolm seems like a nice bloke, who's game for a laugh. As for the girls, I'm OK with Tamara, never liked Rachel.

Don't forgot he goes full blown out autistic at the last one on the top 10.

"SpongeBob, you can't always except my usual brand of stupidity. I like to mix it up, keeps you on your toes."
He took the line seriously, branding Patrick a sociopath. He's even upset that he named his late dog after the character. His review of "Pet Sitter Pat" is so laughingly absurd, with how he takes the entire thing so seriously. He is aware of that so he re-reviewed it with a more calm tone.

To be fair, Spongebob and Patrick do showcase blatant stalker tendencies in some of the newer episodes (Like the one episode where it's revealed that they've been sneaking into another character's house on a regular basis), so it is justified for one to think that something is evil about them. Though acting all mad about mentally impaired cartoon characters certainly isn't a good way to convey your opinions on their characterization.

Damn, I almost forgot about that part. I was laughing at how seriously he took that.

I don't know what Mr. Enter is complaining about. Neither sponges nor starfish possess a nervous system.
We're talking about cartoons here. He's flipping his shit over cartoon sea creatures.

And he thinks he's in the right. That's the problem regarding him and his reviews/top 10 lists.

And before anyone complain, I know it's a joke post. I'm just stating the facts.

In his defense though, all those Spongebob torture porn episodes are fucking cringy.

Eh, I'll give him that much.

BTW, I've been watching that Truth or Square review and came across this line:

I'm pretty sure they didn't have Flash back in the 1950s

See, the line came up when they discussed the parody of 1950s commercials (here at 11:15-http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2er25p_animated-atrocities-60-truth-or-square-with-pieguyrulz_fun) , done in a style based on flat 1950 artwork. What Mr. Enter (and in this casePieGuyRulez) failed to realized is that...

a) The parody was animated by hand. Mind you, it's more fluid than most animation from that era, but still it's kinda obvious they didn't cheap out like that.
b) There were shows back then that had that style of animation (ala Beany & Cecil or Roger Ramjet. Points to those who know what I'm talking about). I think the best modern equivalent to that sort of style (that's still hand drawn), would be the Attack on Titan anime with its thick outlines.

The point of what I said being that despite the fact that he reviews animated shows and movies, the man knows nothing about how animation itself works. Nor does he seem to know about its history or stuff like that. Preferring to only bitch about shit he thinks is relevant (like Patrick being a douche) and pass that off as a review.

Sigh..... Knowing all of this - if he ever creates a cartoon itself (because like I said, he cannot keep doing this and expect it to pay, because it clearly fucking isn't - nor was it ever, seeing all of these fatal flaws in his reviews and lack of skills and maturity as an actual critic!), I know it'll be unpopular than Teen Titans Go!... Seriously, this lack of knowledge can't be good for you if you're trying to get into said business and make anything of reasonable note.
