I'm not even going to talk about the art for once but would like to point out that Stephie is such a humourless shit friend that she gets up in her queer friends face for making a comment that, from the facial expression in panel three, is probably said INTENSELY sarcastically. She doesn't react with a playful punch or push, she doesn't even roll her eyes or smile, she legit gets right on the defensive, ready to attack the ONE person in this stupid shit comic who can stand her while they're in a safe space surrounded by friends.
And this is the hair triggered, eternal victim we're supposed to be rooting for, Labelle's scared cow, the holiest of the holiest Mary Sues and a flawless example of childhood transess.
Imagine being at any kind of social event with Labelle. How friggin insufferable.

For me the comic as it is showcases brilliantly the mind of a villain who thinks he's right and the hero.
