Nowadays, I've lost interest in bigger angry reviewers like AVGN and NC. Overall, I still like them, their old reviews I'll still watch and enjoy from time to time, but I don't find myself too interested anymore. A lot of people say that NC has become forced, while I kinda agree, I think AVGN has it much worse. His newer AVGN reviews come off as really forced, like he's trying to capture the same style from years ago but just can't. It really has become obvious James has lost interest in the character and needs to retire it. He's in his mid-30's, he has a wife and kid, and it hasn't been too long since his movie was released. No matter what the fans say, he needs to end AVGN while it's still on a high note.

Angryjoe I have a love/hate relationship with his reviews and rants. I think his reviews can be interesting, insightful, and sometimes funny, but I think the real problem with Joe is that he doesn't really know how to speak to people outside of his character. What I mean is that there is a very thin line between the real Joe and his character. He can act like a dumbass because he will rant, overeact, or insult at the wrong times. Like when he called GamerGate "nothing but overblown bullshit". It's fine to be neutral about the issue, but a movement that has been active since August of last year is a bit more than "overblown bullshit" at this point. He tries to play himself off as this "voice to the gamers" but he more often than not just makes us look like a bunch of spergs, or pussies out of really huge issues. This is why I like Totalbiscuit so much, he treats the things he looks into like an adult, and clearly puts more thought and effort into showing it off, and proves himself to really voice the opinions of gamers.

As for ones that I actually like AND watch frequently, I do like the guys at Normalboots, mainly Jontron, PeanutButterGamer, and Projared. I always liked the more random style that Jon and PBG do that their reviews can keep attention, especially PBG; with him, it's like I'm watching a little kid trying to review a game, but in a good way that it's fun and enjoyable to watch. As for Projared, I do like how his more analytic side for both his modern reviews and Projared reviews. Except for his Metal Gear Rising review, he can go fuck himself for that.

Another reviewer I like is Somecallmejohnny. He really analyzes what makes a game good or bad, and I do like that he always has criticism to confess, even with universally acclaimed games, like his Ocarina of Time review (Keep in mind, he does it in a very mature way that made sure there was no flame war in the comments, unlike Arin Hanson's awful Sequelitis video of the game, where he just shouts "ORCARINA OF TIME SUUUX, LINK TO THE PAST OLD ZELDA GAME BETTER. FUCKKKKK STORYIES AND INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!!11111ONE!!! I HATE SKYWARD SWORD!!!1" for a half hour.) Also his little skits are enjoyable for how cringeworthy and sloppy they're put together. Again, in a good way.

I dunno, he might have a point there.
Angry Joe is trying his hardest to avoid voicing an opinion about Gamergate atm. He doesn't want to be the next Jim Sterling.

To the point where 8chan is playfully trying to bait him into stating one. Sargon recently had an interview with one of Angry Joe's employees who voiced a fairly nuanced opinion on the subject. And they're predicting in the next few weeks Angry Joe is going to be seen as a Gamergate supporter by SJWs.

That's actually pretty mature and smart of Joe. I think we all remember some of his outbursts and tantrums in the past where he ended up looking like an idiot. He's actually pausing to think before he says anything controversial, good for him I'm curious as to what will happen to him after Channel Awesome implodes on itself.

I think the thing about CA is it's just a website name. One people use to get attention to their videos, but a website name all the same. Doug, Lewis, Joe, all of them can easily go somewhere else and post their videos there for people to watch. Hell, I usually end up watching their vids on blip or their personal websites anyway.

I love you.

But anyway, did anyone see LordKat going off on Channel Awesome tonight?

57:00: "How ist it, HOW IS IT, that Christian Weston Chandler is more productive than Channel Awesome? How is it that the internet's most famous lolcow made more episodes of Sonichu than they've made game show episodes? (...) How is Chris-chan a more productive member of society, going out and macing Game Stop employees, than these fuckers are?"

Oh, low blow! LOW BLOW!

You know what?
I completely forgot that LordKat even brought up Chris until just now.

I'm not sure which would be be more appropriate for Channel Awesome:

I'm leaning towards the idiocy one.

I like how LordKat jumps straight to the point about channel awesome instead of dragging the video out by waiting to talk about at the end or middle. That is very considerate of him.

I know this is late, but another site I'm on (I'm known as The ShopSoldier there... I need a name change, badly.) had this to say about MrEnter and why he lost his subscribers...

(Just so you know im not trying to start a flame thread at all, I just want to share my feelings about something that desperately needs to be talked about.)

If you have been following the internet recently, you will have noticed that one animation critic. One we know very well, TheMysteriousMrEnter has been terminated from YouTube because of multiple third party claims. This man had 69K subscribers and hosted 3 animation series, one called Admirable Animation, MLP:FiM reviews, and his most scathing and most popular review series, Animated Atrocity.

So you're probably asking who would do this to someone? Well the answer lies on Viacom. You know, the company that owns Nickelodeon, MTV and Paramount? As expected this turnout has received some controversy.....ok, a LOT of controversy. (He has a REALLY dedicated fanbase) Everywhere I go on Deviantart I see comments of people defending Mr. Enter and raging at Viacom.

But now, I want to add in my two cents, what do I think about this whole copyright incident?....Personally, I think this is a case of two wrongs don't make a right. Let me explain....

Viacom has been rather notorious in the YouTube community for being rather conservative. Which is understandable if you're as cautious as the next guy........BUT, that doesn't necessarily mean they have the right to delete whatever video has your shows on. They're doing it for a reason you know, and that's because they want to watch the shows on Nick and MTV.

And they also have the right to record videos of the shows. Review or not. There's a reason people watch those television channels, and a reason we have freedom of speech. And that is not how copyright works i'm afraid. And then you have TheMysteriousMrEnter, I understand he's angry over the whole situation and I agree it was unfair on his behalf, but that doesn't mean he has to resort to a huge rant about it.

I'd give you the link but since I really don't want to get into any trouble with the guy, I'm just going to give you the cliff notes.

1. He called Viacom a special kind of evil and "the worst company in existence".
2. He said that the only thing Viacom does is "take well producing companies like Nickelodeon and MTV and strangle them into corporate sludge".
3. He compares Viacom's actions like "a little kid flipping over a game board when they realize they couldn't win". And as I said earlier, everyone agreed with him......
Well, I got some bad news.....
Just because you says you think a company is horrible DOES NOT MAKE YOU CORRECT. He is not God, not everything hes say is going be true, infact sometimes they might just be lies. I'm sorry but I cannot defend MrEnter. He may be right in some of his reviews, but here he just comes of having a lousy attitude.

Again, that bounces back to "Two wrongs don't make a right", An aesop that I know very well indeed. Like I said, I'll admit that Viacom did a rather jerky move on deleting his videos, but Mr. Enter is coming off as rude, mean and cold-hearted himself. Both have made rather bad decisions these past few days and hopefully, they'll look back and be ashamed of themselves for putting themselves in this mess in the first place.

Well, that about ends my soapbox rant, now I want to hear from you. What do you think?

Now please, do not flame on this page, or to me and give me a honest in-depth opinion on what you think of this.

God bless you and have a nice day.

TL;DR - Viacom took this son of a bitch down...

Now for MY OWN thoughts... And those of someone I agree with on the guy as well, for added leverage, so as to show I'm not alone in the way I feel about this son of a bitch...

I'm going to be honest - I. FUCKING. HATE. THIS. GUY. He honestly needs to find something else to do, like work on that stupid cartoon idea of his - Ranting on stuff he doesn't like and obsessing over stuff he does cannot be good for him, or his career potential. He's going to have a hard time finding a real job in today's market if he doesn't find something to do, other than these stupid shows of his.

And he shouldn't be surprised people like stuff that he hates. He should just accept it and stop acting so "holier than thou" with his tastes in things. It would improve his life outlook immensely, IMHO. Instead, he's picking fight with people who as much as he doesn't deserve to suffer at their will, cannot compete with these people and must fail for a true wake - up call to happen to get yourself together and do something more productive with his life.

Yeah... I'm not a fan of Viacom's current corporate nonsense - but I know for a FACT that I'm not going to miss this guy - if anything, I'm going to always be looking back on how he was trying too hard to be entertaining. That, and the world is better off with less angry critics like him cluttering up the internet entertainment realm with their over - exaggerated trash, personally.

Also, his open obsession with MLP annoys me immensely - all that time wasted on a horribly overrated show that could have been devoted to developing his craft better... Sad, IMHO. Just sad.

And I know I'm just repeating myself - but I needed to get it out. It felt so damn good!

There is Avgn and NC whom I have not watched because I have not caught up with their newer stuff,But I have been watching alot of Spoony with his reviews and especially his Counter Monkey being a long time D&D player.

There is that GamerDude guy that Arin made fun of on Game Grumps and that GamerDude is pretty bad I fact a piece of dog shit covered in semen being shoved in my mouth.

Watched the NC's newest top 11 (about sad scenes in kids movies) and i couldn't help to feel like i've watched it before... Is it some kind of a rerun or am i turning psychic/psycho?

Oh, and a shoutout to fellow Swede and king of improductivity - Ebeeto!

I think you watched that episode again, the last Top 11 he did was about Halloween films.

any update on the disintegration of channel autism?

People weren't kidding about how hard it is just to get a straight answer from these guys. I like how Mike fired Lupa just because you know he was butthurt about their conversation.

How many people have they lost recently? I know there's others who haven't technically left but are trying to distance themselves so they don't have to be under CA's control like this.
