Update on Pete from tekkocon: We had a talk and he's doing much better now, seems less phased by the bullshit. He asked my help in finding an in house councillor or therapist to de escalate situations that normally go to their Harrasment Officer. That way they can actually look for Harrasment instead of being flagged down for relationship drama. I looked into the area and gave him some candidates that I approved of for the situation. Hope he does well, god bless him.

I have seen this behavior in my own family with an aunt. Most likely started with the doctor killing the baby in ICU intentionally(rather not go into details). She was already a bit nutty, but this drove her to madness. If the con owners are smart, they probably emailed Vic and said "Hey, we're going to remove you from the available list but to be clear, you are still coming, we just won't publicize it until much closer to the con occurring. And then just shortly before the con blitz social media ensuring people know he's there.

They haven't said. They issued a statement yesterday saying that a guest appearance had changed and that they won't comment on it. Vic was on their guest page for about a day and then removed.

For additional context, they were e-mailed by someone asking why he wasn't on their website if he was a guest. Their response was to add him to the list. They removed him the following day and issued the statement shown above.
