Golden Kamuy is fucking awesome. I think it jumps between the comedy, serious moments and ainu cooking stuff really well. Literally (almost, I never really liked Kiroranke that much, a little boring compared to everyone else and I'm glad he's dead.) every character and villain in this manga is badass. The characters also have fairly understandable (at least within the context of their character) motivations.

Getting strict with dress codes is going to kill cosplay culture dead, the whole point is it's an "anything goes", envelope pushing thing.

Been rereading Hunter x Hunter again for the first time since the chimera arc ended.

Such a schizophrenic series. Super childish one moment and then filled with extreme violence (the demonstration of Alluka's powers disturbed me). One moment bland shonen tournament bs, suddenly a graphic mob story.

Not to mention Gon and Killua seem more like background characters half the time.

Interesting bit of character development for Denji in ChainsawMan. Actually made me feel sorry for him. Also explains a lot of how being like him work.

Sadly the only site i use following masteranime dying. It had a follow feature so all I had to do was click that tab and check once a day.

Twist? "Heh... We're actually upgrading our streaming speeds even more..!". No favrite feature, a chat nobody cares for, and still lags. It alone made me quit anime more or less.

i don't now know how this new akira film will live up to the original film.

there aren't that many people alive who can animate and paint backgrounds like that
i have a feeling this new akira anime might be a disappointment, but i've just got to wait and
see.

That CGI looks a little weird but well is a preview, weird that is sunrise the one putting the dosh, i was halfway expecting that it was Netflix considering they are getting old IPs to get the weeb dosh (sadly they dont simulcast)

The new one is going to adapt all the original source because when the Akira movie was released the manga was still going on, and is Sunrise, they probably want to piss off Love Live money in something new because there is a limit how much Idols you can wank until people get tired of it

And be thankful that is not a new "american adaption"

In other news, Being a macross fan in america is suffering, Harmony gold, the ones responsible for cockblocking any kind of simulcast or release of any Macross series got a renewal for other 35 years, so people is legitimately pissed off at them

I fucking hate this. They're so damn good at their marketing even though the end product is shit, and I know it, everyone knows it, yet we keep coming back to these empty promises of "I can change! I'll do better for you!" because they cover it up deceptively well.

I know exactly how this will end. Every Digimon fan knows Tai and Agumon will never separate, this is nothing more than cheap parlor tricks to play with your emotions and expectations.

Watched Fire Force the other day, and it continues the emerging trend of decent-ish Shonens that are elevated by top-tier artistry in sound and animation.

It and Dr. Stone are probably gonna be my only summer series.
