I've often felt this too, that as obnoxious as the RR was, they were infinitely more tolerable because they at least respected your right to self-determination, even if they felt it wrong to the point of sin. That at the end of the day, the Robertsons and Buchanans of the world were content to let God punish you if they didn't get their way in enforcing what they saw as God's moral imperatives on the populace.

The modern prog-left, not believing in such inescapable higher planes of justice, are so obsessed with forcing everyone to live THEIR way because they seem to know, even as they yell "right side of history!" there IS no force that will make it shake out that way unless the masses are kowtowed into following suit. While the deacon on the corner may have publicly called you an immoral heathen, he'd never try and get you fired from your job or blacklisted from your hobbies and clubs, but the left DOES this and does it with pride and gusto. And, inevitably they become militant and paranoid just like every other dictator in human history who sought to stamp out "immorality" and felt sure they could succeed where everyone before them had failed.


The RR lasted roughly 30 years because they were a nuisance, but, largely ignorable and while there were a few crazies that planted bombs, the worst they ever got was managing to make video game publishers put "violent content" warnings on games.

The SJWs are only going to last about 10 because they are not just a nuisance, but confrontational and violent and not only seek to have you fired from your job if you oppose them, but are just successful enough that engaging with them at all is a peril.

If Trump reunites Korea they won't have a choice they'll have to award him the Nobel peace prize. That would be the most significant foreign policy accomplishment since the fall of the Berlin wall.
 
Well, someone grabbed some pictures of the Antifa guys at the Portland rally pouring (???) into the "milkshakes", but I'm not sure what exactly that it is they're adding. It's clear that it's some sort of powder based on the light hitting the inside of the woman's bucket on the left, but as per what exactly the product is, we're not sure yet.

The square bucket isn't the original container though, that's just a generic "food grade bucket."

If it's flaking they probably used some mixture of oxide powder. Concrete or cement wouldn't flake even with the addition of milk it would just form a sludge.

If they're using buckets like that it also probably came in a bag which powdered cement and concrete usually don't unless it's small quantities, they'll come in their own buckets from the start.
 
The MSM and the left in general's reaction to Trump talking with Kim is hilarious to me. These are the people who want to fuck over America by opening the borders, letting everyone in, and giving them all free health care, and think Trump is a monster for not doing so. Nobody, except for the starving North Koreans and some of the less enlightened people in the south want Korean Reunification.
What is much more likely is Trump getting the Norks to officially end the war and agree to make the current border permanent. But he's also as likely or more so to just get strung along by the Pilsbury Dictator.
Its extremely likely Kimmy is only playing nice with Trump to wring concessions from China.


China does not want a reunified Korea; North Korea is a welcome buffer state, and gives them an opportunity to play Good Cop.

The US does not want a reunified Korea, as within 10-20 years Korea would start focusing on their own interests, likely send most of the US presence there packing, and the US would lose a valuable strategic counter weight to China (in short: China could probably take out Okinawa, and they could probably neutralize our forces in SK, but they would likely be unable to accomplish both).

The South Korean Government wants a Reunification PROCESS to feather their cap (and for a crazy dictator to stop pointing howitzers at their capital), but they don't want reunification. The Norks are bunch of brainwashed retards with rotting infrastructure; The highest quality things in the country were built by Soviet Russia, so have a nice long hard ponder on what that means. South Korea's population is about 50 million, North Korea is 25 million. So after reunification, your country is now 1/3 malnourished xenophobic retards who've had some of the worst media care. It would just completely destroy SK economically for likely decades after, not including the political chaos that would result.

And the North Korean government and military most definitely don't want reunification because even if they somehow find an Obama-level cuck for negotions who will bend over and give them full immunity from the crimes against humanity they commit on a daily basis, and they somehow aren't just murdered by the people they oppressed, they sure as hell aren't going to be voted into office or enjoy the same power they have now.

This also doesn't count the vast, VAST psychological and probable physical harm that the North Korean people would suffer. The Soviets had at least been walking back their more oppressive policies before the wheels fully came off and it was still a shock to people to suddenly have choices in life.
Norks would not only be going from Zero to Freedom, but they would quickly discover everything they had been make to believe about the world outside of North Korea was a complete fabrication. Food and alcohol would be cheap and plentiful, and they would be unprepared for the amount of illegal drugs suddenly on offer.
