I still can't believe the Evangelicals managed to control mainstream culture for 20 years but their Left Wing counterpart is already badly cracking and slowly sinking like the Titanic after only 5 years.

They wanted to "protect Obama's legacy" by not having him be the one to push the button making the nation go full commie fascist and B. Hillary was a sick fuck, who had a long as fuck enemies list and contempt for humanity, that she kind of wanted to be the one to press the button turning America into a commie dictatorship, where she was Queen.

5. Gamergate then happened, which threw a wrench into the acceleration plans. The lunatic left truly thought that the masses who would oppose them, would be oblivous until it was too late to stop them. But Gamergate woke everyone up just in time, leading to a mass red pilling and fracturing of the left and the lunatic left showing their true evil face.

6. By this point, the lunatic left was all in and couldn't do a tactical retreat because too much ground (IE trans right, black supremacy, legalized misandry directed at men by feminazis) would have to be lost to save their hides and gains (gay marriage, Obamacare, etc.

7. Trump came along. Another black swan and one that was an existential crisis for the lunatic left BECAUSE he was the embodiment of the masses rejecting the lunatic left (and the DNC, Obama, the Clintons) bullshit. This plus 5-6, created a situation where the lunatic left full tilt went insane because they couldn't concede and just kept doubling, tripling, quadrupling, down on their bullshit because they couldn't fucking own up to the nightmare they created.

There's a lot going on so I watched it a couple times to try and get a basic run down for people to see. I didn't even notice rundown to hit him again the first few times I watched, just saw the guy step in between.

Video starts with someone punching him a few times before running away, starts getting egged, sprayed with silly string, two people then run up and looks like one tries to hit him and another kick him (I think one might be the same person from start of video, but hard to tell due to so many being dressed similarly) but luckily a dude stepped in to try and stop them from hitting him, and then as he walks out from the group some more people throw milkshakes at him

You're being a little inaccurate on the time scales.

Left Wing have been controlling the media since at least 2008, and really closer to 2004/2005. It was just a more subtle and nuanced control before they went full re.tard around 2015, which itself was just an acceleration of 2011/2012 Obama reelection shilling.
Obama didn't have a scandal free presidency. He had a complacent and complicit media.

The religious right controlled the media longer, but as part of a more solidified Protestantism/Catholicism zeitgeist; when 80-plus percent of the country agrees with your views, its sort of hard to say you're controlling the media.

Then things started to shift around the 70s for some unexplainable reason. I'd say the religous right didn't really 'control' the media until about the early-to-mid 1980s, which is when 'moral panic' advocates began successfully pushing for censorship of things they didn't like but the public at large didn't feel the same way, and I'd say serious cracks appeared in the mid-to-late 90s, due to several factors but accelerated by the internet, with the control being lost by the early aughts.

Well, Christianity has a few things going for it which run counter to SJWism:
1) SJWism is about performative value - virtue signalling is more important than being truly virtuous. Being a Christian is about embodying the love and virtues of Christ and expressing them in genuine ways.
2) SJWism is about dragging people down and creating divides to access power and exert your will. Christianity is about loving all people and seeking to elevate everyone into light of God's Grace through love and charity.
3) SJWism is about eternal damnation with no hope of redemption; once accused of SJW-sins you are guilty, branded for life, and must die. Christianity offers a path to redemption from all sin for those that would repent and turn away from evil and into the light of God.

Christianity is about ten million times kinder, more accepting, and morally progressive than SJWism ever could be and I would gladly strangle a dozen SJW adherents to death before I'd lay a finger on a devout disciple of Christ.

They're going to play one of their favorite tricks, you already read people gearing up for this online, the mainstream media will trot it out, too. When something bad happens, its because of President Trump, but when something good happens, its because Barack Obama as president "laid the groundwork." President Trump is just a bombastic buffoon taking undeserved credit for the hard, sly, subtle work the Obama Administration did.

This is the Obama's Economy racket. These will be spun as Obama's Peace Talks. The chutzpah will be something to behold, a real breath-taking sight, but there's that story in a lot of the cans around the country today. They'll all be dropping in a coordinated fashion at the start of the week. That's part of the genius at having these happen at dawn on a Saturday in America, really caught them off guard with this one. All their blubbering and, "Actually, this is part of the Obama legacy!" spin is going to be very easy to shit on and President Trump will be leading the way burying them for when they try it.
 
Honestly I think an argument is to be made that the obsession with political cartoon tier "OPPOSING POLITICIAN BAD AND SMELLY AND STOOPID AND EATS BABIES AND AND AND" which would include political cartoons, late night talk shows and the like, and other low effort political "satire" is one of the factors that led to the collapse of discourse and rationality in the left and to a somewhat lesser extent the right, since both creators and consumers stopped treating them as fanciful exaggerations and farcical pastiches and started seeing them as "basically" reality.

Alternatively, they may suddenly discover their inner nativists/anti-Communists/isolationists, and belabor Trump for meeting with the Norks in terms that would make John Birch himself say: "Jeez, chill, you're scaring me."

It works on people who really want to buy into it, and whose historic memories go back five years at the most. Sadly, there'll be plenty who qualify.
