Just as an experiment I popped over to Patch’s redbubble and not only are they not selling most of the things people actually want (most of their LGBT shirts are “Ask me about my X Agenda” with little colored hearts) and if you try and buy one they’re about $35 give or take shipping and taxes. Compare that to a simple black T-shirt with a rainbow flag and “Pride” on it for about $10 you can pick up nearby with no shipping…

So, thing about Redbubble and those other indy merch sites is that the shirts are printed per order. As in the shirt will not exist until your payment is finalised. The price is high because they have to print each shirt on a per order basis. Where as all those pride shirts had the flag patterns slapped on in a factory. This is the price paid for wanting something specialised and not just...you know bought at target.
But hey Patchworkheart is charging 35 bucks for a t-shirt that must totally be their own choice!

It doesn't even have to be inflicted by someone else. Try and talk to some asexual people online about their experiences.
You'll see a lot who grew up convinced there was something wrong with them because they didn't want to have sex like their peers.
A lot didn't even know that Asexuality was a thing for a good portion of their lives.
And growing up thinking that you're somehow "broken", because of reasons you don't even understand, is not healthy for a young person.
I'd call that alone a sufficient reason as to why Asexual and Aromantic people should be included in the LGBT community and given support.
Because they need people to be there and tell them what's what.

'you're not a real bisexual unless you date the same sex' and i've literally been banned from groups because i'm bisexual, and god forbid, i date the opposite sex. its like bisexuals are interested in both sexes or something, but nope, guess i'm just gay/s.
