Considering it only takes 6 weeks of residency in Cali to get a driver's license, I feel like we should encourage foreign Kiwis of means to consider 2 months in a nice northern part, so they can get licensed, and automatically registered to vote.

If a nonresident votes in a federal election, their ballot must be thrown out.
I don't know what happens if you specifically enter the United States for the purposes of electoral fraud, but it can't be good.

When I was a teenager I was a cart corraler at a local supermarket. There was a guy there with the same job, except he was in his late thirties. They'd tried to promote him to bagger several times over the years but he just couldn't handle the pressure, God bless him. Normally I'm one to completely ignore anonymous "inside source" stories, but given the kind of beating that Biden took in that debate, and given that it's coming from a New York Magazine writer, I'm willing to believe that his staff is probably having a panic right now, and Biden's being Biden and completely ignoring his prep team while he parades around on stage thinking that it's still 1904. Stranger still was that Biden's campaign manager responded to the assertion not even 10 minutes later.

Sounds like he's trying to be like Trump, but completely underestimated that he's not Trump, doesn't understand Trump, and never will be Trump.

They're definitely saying that "we've been ignoring the working class" and "we need to get back to representing the people" constantly. It's like they've heard us say that they're not listening to us. We all know that they won't do a thing though once they get the votes though. Funny how convenient it was that this record just sat there on the shelves collecting dust all through 2008 and 2012 and nobody ever made mention of it, and yet two days after he gets into a slap fight with Harris someone just so happens to stumble across it in the NPR vault. Detroit's had a Democrat as mayor since 1962, Chicago since 1931, St. Lois since 1949, and the list of "worst cities in the USA" sort of goes on in that trend for quite awhile. I find it intensely interesting that the party that cares so much about the little guy and minorities and gun safety can have a complete stranglehold over local politics for more than half a century in some places, and yet not only does nothing improve, but if anything it continually gets worse.

For a political body that claims to have all the answers they've sure managed to avoid successfully solving a single one of them.

It's almost like projection. They always say how Republicans will turn this country into a hellhole and then you look at the cities/states they run and honestly if those aren't hellholes, I don't want to know what is.
