Pelosi's savvy enough to understand that she's been outmaneuvered and it's time to take the loss and just stop. She knows that there's only so much she can get away with to advance the Far-Left agenda before the party's political future is placed in jeopardy. Pelosi knows when it's time to back away, but the problem is that she let the 'new blood' run amok for so long that they don't share her in her ability to 'measure the tides', and they have no interest in learning to do so.

AOC, who is essentially now the public face of the Far-Left wing of the DNC, wants all or nothing on every single issue. Hence, why there's a steadily-building Civil War taking place inside of the DNC. The old guard is desperately trying to keep the new blood "covered" because they won't stop saying insane shit that's scaring off middling voters, and the new blood is thrashing violently to try and oust the old guard because they think their time is up and it's time to push things as far to the Left as they possibly can.

Nope. Also side note: I remember looking at a right-wing comments section and also watching them hate on the NRA - for being too squishy. The physical source of this censorship is 455 Mass Ave SE, Washington, DC. The building is a nest of scandalous fundraising activity, but there's 2 offices everyone should be aware of.

David Brock keeps his office there, along with Mary Pat Bonner. David runs Media Matters - along with a set of other organizations - and Mary Pat Bonner is a Democratic fundraiser who operates under the Bonner Group. They have been grifting together for decades and have found a way to directly influence mainstream social media.

The main person 'coordinating' these efforts is Katie Paris. Brock had a heart attack right after Trump was elected, Katie has taken a more prominent role managing relationships between Media Matters, CREW, ShareBlue and other groups he owns. She's the one who ensures ideas get implemented. Peter Daou, who ran a group called 'Men for Hillary' in 2016, is tangentially involved but regarded as an ass by most people he meets. He's been making introductions between these groups, he's the bad cop to Katie's good cop.

The nature of the coordination is frequent meetings with media & tech executives, issuing position papers, and email correspondence related to specific content authors. There's also chat communication across a spectrum of platforms.

Am learning more about the nature of the co-mingling of the operations of this activist group with media / social media platforms and depressed by everything I see. If you're wondering how all these companies seem to mysteriously act in concert, Brock's office is where the spokes of the wheel meet.
 
It was a group of Blue Dog democrats in the house that stopped the radical house bill. The senate bill is just mostly humanitarian funding with some democrat riders. So thanks to those Blue Dog house democrats for not being assholes. It was clear Pelosi was going to use the shelter funding as a bludgeon to enact the open border policies she was gunning for. One less political battle for this year.

I thought the usual line was that only the most expert shooters could ever hope to defend themselves with a gun, and that policemen always qualified (unless they were shooting at the wrong sort of people). Thus, the teachers we entrust with our children suddenly become bungling clowns when they lay a hand on a gun.

I dunno in that case. Arm the gay babies?
