A half-lie, sort of. A stabbing did take place in Halifax on the day Lily claims to have been attacked at.
However it involved a 32-year old woman, who was arrested for attempted murder, with no mention of the man attacking the woman or being charged with any crime himself. And it was nowhere near a Tim Horton's restaurant.

because something like this is deep ruted. sure you can get as many sparkly things as you want but over time, bif you become more and more of a bitter, selfish looney, it's hard to scrub that away from your personality. Not only that he surrounds himself with people who will praise him for anything.
