I don’t know about anyone else, but I usually tend to think of these types of people in this video when the word ‘disabled’ comes up.The strange thing, to me at least, is that there's way to frame it where you don't sound like that but are discussing the realities of living with depression or a chronic mental health condition. For example, talking about having to call out of work because of your mental health and discussing why or potential ways to address it. That's informative, that's helpful, that could be empowering. But to say you're disabled because people are calling you ableist? Imagine going up to someone with no legs and saying hey brother, I'm disabled too.
