He's not a strictly Amber Channel, his content is a lot more than just that. I found the chat people incredibly annoying and immature, most of the time I felt like @pecansandies was throwing pearls to pigs imo.
There was so much I wanted to hear more about, I totally agree with you.
Every time he was interrupted was so frustrating ...grrrrrr....

Of course I know Archie/Pecan are one and the same. I was around when the info that went into his initial ALR video was being gathered and contributed to by a bunch of Kiwis as well lol.
i just figured I would talk about the video and the people participating in it (Archie and Justine) in the same way/tense as any of the other Haydur videos that get posted. I guess?
I mean, Archie was being Archie in that video so it was easy to just refer as such, Sorry if I came across as confusing
 
Never seen this channel before, but YT recommended this edit of Becky's greatest hits.
Hearing all her crazy nonsense in one place is pretty entertaining. Not only does this video include our favorite butler discussing her royal heritage and ancestry, the tragic possum story and the assertion that she will fight you if you deny Pluto is a planet, but it has an interaction that is our gloomy Becky in a nutshell:

Amber: "How was your day?"
Becky: "It SUUUCKED".

It's also interesting to see in the earlier clips from the beginning of their relationship that our Sultan of Snapbacks had more of a backbone then. And a visible neck.

Never thought that we, as a people, would get to this point, but here we are.

I don't mind Zachary too much, sure he can be obnoxious at times and I don't know what the fuck was happening with Amber Con 2.0 but I can stomach him better than MBP. But I have to agree the beginning with him explaining why using the word "normal" is some sort of slur to disabled people is almost as exceptional as Amber's reaction video. Pandering to people who can't handle the English language because they are so emotionally shallow and have a personality that is strictly based on their physical appearance is pathetic. Other than that its a decent video because he gives valid reasons for his apparent pity and hidden disgust for her. And to his credit he finished her entire reaction video when she couldn't handle 8 minutes of his.

I like Zach, but man, I'm EXHAUSTED with this trend on YouTube where every one uses their mental health issues as a get out of jail free card, a way to subvert criticism, or a way to make their audiences feel bad. I'm not denying Zach's issue, it just really irks me when people have chronic depression then act like they're disabled like someone who's an amputee, has schizophrenia, or something else as serious. It's insulting to ACTUALLY disabled people, mentally or physically.

Also, if I was Zach, just tell these people to get fucked. I understand he can't because of his viewership, but criticizing Amberlynn and saying she can't walk isn't ableist.(sp?). It's well documented Amberlynn is in a world of her own design and ableism should be reserved for people who struggle with circumstances beyond their control. Amberlynn is a person with the means and privlege to fix her shit, but she doesn't. She's disabled because of her own choices. She isn't a quadriplegic or paraplegic that struggles with ramp access to places. She's nearly 600 pounds because she's an addict that won't address her issues.

It's dumb Amberlynn thinks he's Ableist, and it's gross Zach wants to act like he's part of the disabled community cause muh depression. Own your fucking words without the excuse if you really meant them.

The strange thing, to me at least, is that there's way to frame it where you don't sound like that but are discussing the realities of living with depression or a chronic mental health condition. For example, talking about having to call out of work because of your mental health and discussing why or potential ways to address it. That's informative, that's helpful, that could be empowering. But to say you're disabled because people are calling you ableist? Imagine going up to someone with no legs and saying hey brother, I'm disabled too.

Chantal also went on a pretty massive tirade about it a few days ago. I don't follow her, so those of you who do can chime in or correct me if I'm wrong. I saw some people on twitter from both AL's and Chantal's fanbases coming at him. Of course there were also actually disabled people telling him that the use of the word "normal" was neither offensive nor wrong in that context. But I understand why he felt the need to apologize for it and provide and explanation. He's big on social issues and so is his following.

Btw, some criteria for bans on the subreddit. No body shaming, no repetitive topics (even though Amber’s entire life is repetitive), and you also can’t mention that she’s a lesbian gorl.

Or fat. You can’t mention that she’s fat.

Why is the reddit version of these types of discussions always the absolute worst?

Y'all are not wrong. Let me be clear on that.

Buuuut in Zach's defence, he does have a career to think about. Whether anyone likes it or not, this is the current climate, and he's smart to cover his ass a bit by pontificating about ableism and such. Lots of people in less SJW-ish environments than the Student Services department (or whatever) of a college would get their fingers slapped for not being PC enough.

Granted, he probably means what he says (sigh) but I don't blame him for taking a social media accusation of some kinda -ism very seriously indeed. I'm not the biggest Zach-fan in the world, but I do have to admit he's smart about this kinda shit.
 
Watching Zach and Amber go back and fourth is like having a front row ticket to the special needs olympics, both teams are obviously stupid but its amusing watching them make their case.
