Yeah, exactly. Every single girl I've known that's engaged in actual prostitution has been severely damaged already due to sexual abuse, and the sex work they've engaged in has been the exact opposite of empowering to such an obvious and extreme degree that it baffles me that any feminist would still use it as a talking point. It's something noone should aspire to, or want to glamorize, but I guess nude modelling or camgirl-ing just doesn't garner enough of an air of edginess, or evoke the sympathy, that lumping it altogether under the banner of "sex work" does
 
Sex work is an extremely broad umbrella, but in general I think it's safe to say it definitely isn't "real work" or empowering.

Camming/ethotting can be done on your schedule and you don't have to fuck people you don't want, but in most cases it's not a career and after people get tired of you or you get too old, have fun working entry level jobs with no experience. Fair enough though, you can work your way to be an internet celebrity or get a job in modelling or porn industry, but these cases are few and far between. I'd say I wouldn't mind it too much if it's a college-aged woman temporarily making some side money.

Prostitution or escorting is even more of a dead end as far as careers go, has a high chance of being involved in trafficking and sucks in general. Nothing "real" about this one, you have to be a victim or a person with severe issues to do this.

Western porn scenes can lead to a career as a producer, director, influencer etc. but most of it stays in the porn industry so again it's a fat chance. And while (and I must stress western, because there's a ton of coercing or trafficking say eastern europe and some asian countries) the working conditions are generally better and most of the time it's voluntery, plenty of women working in it are down on luck, drug addicts, or just simply have some sort of issue, whether that's money, family, friends, mental issues...

Modelling or cosplaying aren't fucking sex work, it fits better into an art umbrella and generally doesn't exist to get someone off nor it involves sex.

That's... not how it works most of the time. If you're a sex worker doing this it's probably coerced and very much non consensual. Western pornstars or nicer "escorts" can reject clients/have "blacklists", pornstars also usually don't work daily but shoot multiple scenes in one day then don't work for a couple of days, alternatively they fly out to a different state and shoot multiple scenes over the course of several days and, again, have a few days break. They also often don't need to pretend they're horny, it's not like we don't have mood enhancers that could help them with that.


Shoe literally knows jack shit about anything she passionately talks about, be it politics, movies, sex work, or just about anything else. I believe I said it before in this thread, but I genuinely think she gets literally all her opinions on pretty much any topic from Youtube videos and Twitter feed.

Do you not agree that's it's idiotic, stereotypical and generalising to believe that women who don't shave aren't women/are less than other women? Leah's off the rails here. The fight June had was uncalled for, and honestly childish with how she responded to him 'KEITH, BABY BOY' etc... Like, it's not a good look, June.

But why should Leah get away with belittling and berating women for their own bodily choices? Calling makeup slave-paint? Linking heels to the 'she asked for it' statement bc she associated them with rape? Leah can shave her hair yet not her pubic hair?

Just watched this video again and I picked up on a few more things:

- Not so much in the last video where she talks about June but in one of the other clips her hair is clearly darker so does that mean it's okay to dye your hair but not shave it? Is hair dye different than makeup to her?

- Her eyebrows look a little thin to me, so does that mean she thinks it's okay to pluck or otherwise thin them out? Because it's on her head does that put it in the same vein as shaving her head? June has thicker eyebrows than the other girl does.

- I noticed she doesn't talk about guys wearing makeup as being "slave paint." I wanted to point this out because let's say for a moment we aren't talking about men wearing makeup 'for fun.' Does this mean no 'stage' makeup, for the camera? I know of a few YouTubers (though I'm sure there are many) who are male and wear makeup to cover blemishes or to balance out their skin to look better on camera, so it's not like they are wearing it, say, on a date or something. Is this wrong? She doesn't specify.

So many questions.

This has been a really good thread. Ever since I first saw her videos pop up on my YouTube recommendations, I wanted to hate her. I didn't have the will to watch her videos but she and her video titles were just so off putting. After reading through these posts, I now know that I was right to think she was probably an obnoxious attention whore. TERFs don't just hate trannies, they hate each other too. Terri and her sidekick Leah did a Livestream together a while back where Leah said that she has a gang history(?!), that she was involved with Occupy Los Angeles back in 2011 (so she must've known that one of their leaders, this indie filmmaker asshole, had raped a Youtuber that same year, then sent his lawyers after he to cover it up) and she was urging Occupy Los Angeles to battle the cops when they came in to dismantle the camp (for those of you who weren't around back then, Occupy Los Angeles occupied a park outside of City Hall where they had set up a huge tent camp to protest the housing crisis). Leah says she left Occupy when they refused to fight the cops and decided to engage in peaceful civil disobedience instead. Sounds like another provocateur to me, and the fact that she refuses to talk about the Occupy Los Angeles rapist while making video after video about trannies makes me question how feminist she really thinks she is. If she has a gang history and is now going around open telling feminists to fight with cops, you can see what's happening here. TERFs complain about troons with baseball bats but TERFs are their own brand of far left extremism. It helps to look at TERFs and SJW troons as rivaling gangs.

Next time, do me a favor and put a hyphen between "free" and "bled", I opened that video wondering if this 'freebling' was some sort of new dance the kids were doing these days, only to wonder why that woman had pissed herself, only to then come to a much more horrifying realization.
