This one's a couple days late but the Furry Fandom generates drama at such a rapid fire speed that it's hard to keep up with.
Moth_sprout/Kinkymoth/Oliver/Moth/Benji got called out by twitter and tumblr user Essiecatter/kittiautum in a now deleted twitter post for drawing pokémon zoophilia. I didn't catch any screenshots unfortunately, if anybody has some that'd be much appreciated. He later apologized for it since it caused such a shitstorm (archive). This is the art that was on the tweet, I'll be crossposting this to the horrific furry art thread later.

The only thing dumber than sending copyright strikes towards YouTubers with followers is openly bragging about it. Instead of sending even a message on Twitter like "Hi I'm the guy in the thumbnail of this and I don't want to be associated with these zoophile pieces of shit" the furry openly decides to DMCA a YouTuber making videos exposing the fandom's dirty laundry. Hell, YouTube even offers this thing called a privacy complaint where you can say "yeah I don't like this image of me in the thumbnail". But no, he sent a copyright takedown over a thumbnail instead.

But it's no surprise that it's yet another example of the furry approach to PR. Why clean up the fandom when you can just try to silence outsiders shining a light on how shitty your fandom is.

This really demonstrates how broken Youtube's copyright system is because technically only the Photographer owns the copyright to this since its a group photo and not some 1-on-1 image she alone comissioned. That would be like claiming the rights to your class photo from school because you happen to be in it. Which is exactly what this furfag did.

It's a great example of the Streisand Effect thou because instead of distancing herself from the subjects of the video she's inserted herself right beside them. Can't see any other reason for such a knee jerk reaction to a thumbnail

If he appealed it (which he did) it'll be a few weeks until the video comes back up and Pepper gets the strike instead. You have to send your address to basically say "if you want to keep disputing this meet me IRL in court".

It was apparently background music, which is also what was at the core of the whole infamous Prince family video case. I guarantee if he wasn't pissing off the fandom and was instead some furry filming himself at the con with the music Pepper wouldn't have DMCA'd him.
