i can't help it. they're cute. i can do without sjw stuff in art but it can't completely turn me off something i find aesthetically pleasing.

Tumblr's tendency to project their insecurities onto characters in the name of "progressivism" really shows in this pic. Robin and Cyborg look true to design. You can remove them from the context of this picture and still be able to easily recognize them. I can't say the same for the poor girls here, who were just annihilated by skin conditions and look like they haven't showered in a few months. Raven looks like a sadgirl lezzie who cut her hair by sticking her head in a blender during a manic episode.

For some reason there’s a section of the Dragon Age fandom that tries to claim that this character is a pee-oh-cee. Yes, they think this ginger ass dude is not white, all because the lighting in the first game was terrible. This isn’t the only character they try to claim isn’t white, but it’s the one people seem to be most rabid about. It’s at the point where I often see art of him that is so blackwashed that I can’t even tell who it is at first.
