Yeah, Batman Returns did more or less confirm Selina's survival at the end. And if he liked Resurrection, lord knows what his opinion on Alien 3 is like.

To be fair, there are things to like in Ressurection. When viewed as a "Proto-Firefly" it is far better than trying to watch it as an Alien movie.

Other than being the Class Snitch when it comes to men showing overt attraction to women and some weird fetishy stuff that would only bat half an eye on Tumblr, I can't really think of anything "career ending" that he could have done. He hasn't got the bilious hatefulness of a MovieBob, Dobson or Renfamous. I'd rather see those three get roasted on the spit long before I'd want to see that happen to Linkara.

I just caught up with this thread and after watching his videos on PR, I’m wondering why he gives a pass to Samurai but not with Megaforce consider their production problems.

He said in the Megaforce video why. With Samurai, Saban had literally just got back the show from Disney and now had to put on a season rather quickly. He gives them a little slack for not being able to put together a good season of the show.

With Megaforce however, the series had already been back in Sabans control for a couple years at that point. Saban was given more than enough time to iron out and fix the problems behind the scenes of the show. Their failure to do so results in Megaforce having to be judged a little more harshly.

I see the point. Wouldn’t Nickelodeon be blamed for their failures as well since they had Saban agree to have it be on air at the beginning of the year and also splitting them up into two seasons (a dumb move if you ask me)?

Call me autistic, but Linkara is way more "dangerous" and "evil" than those two. He's stubborn and stupid while having a huge ego and a desire to make other people repeat his opinions. Who will use almost propaganda tactics to do that.

Sure it's just stupid comics, doesn't really hurt nobody. But it doesn't change how evil, hypocritical and two faced this asshat is. This guy shouldn't be anyone's introduction to anything let alone something as confusing as comics.

Linkara is a literal manchild who somehow gets paid money to play with children's toys and self insert himself as a Gary stu into power ranger esque plots. I'll give you he is incredibly hypocritical, as most self-identifying male feminists are, but I think the dude is pretty harmless overall and is far too inept to be considered evil.

I'm sure there are some exceptional fans who treat him seriously, but even among his own CA friends he's frequently mocked. The most influential he's tried to be is to get people to turn off adblock. All that being said, he does probably have a bigger audience than Movie Blob or Dobson, but eh, that's not a huge accomplishment. Even as far as possibly influencing people's opinion on the comic industry, I don't think he's particularly influential because he tends to go after the lowest hanging fruit. It feels like he has enough common sense to try and avoid internet drama too, which is one of the few positive things I'll say about him.
 
Now add to that the fact that comics is way more niche than movies and suddenly he's not just slightly bigger that MovieBob he's more influential than him and all the CA mockery doesn't matter if he's big enough in his niche. You'd be surprised how often people say they got into comics thanks to him and how often people repeat his bullshit now.

And yeah I fucked up calling him "evil" is wrong, but he is malicious towards something he says he likes. When he talks about a bad comic he doesn't just talk about it he almost always tries to paint everyone involved as bad people. Countdown is a mess, we all know that, but Link spends the first part of the video convincing people that every writer is terrible by emphasizing every bad story they did and downplaying the good. In One More Day review he goes on a tantrum about how writers hate their fans because they've included fat loser-Peter, even though that was a vision made by Mephisto.

He's doing shit like this on purpose and it wouldn't surprise me if he's really controlling and manipulative IRL
