Katie really is the most phoned in content creator i've seen, I think bringing the post back would atleast instigate the internet orbiters out and generate none cyclical content that isn't directly related to hambers timeline. Most of them aren't insightful and jack content from KF, so fuck'em.

I'm no white knight but I don't mind conceding that I think Katie did do some funny shit in her videos, but with rare exception the funny stuff was an island in a sea of zero-effort cutaways to memes and Family Guy that usually went on way too long and weren't terribly funny to start with. It felt lazy and it had a diluting effect on the moments of actual comedy, which were usually meticulous sentence mixing or otherwise snappy editing. I never thought of her as a comic genius but she was sometimes funny, when she put effort in, which is more than I can say for the lisping SJW cringe factories that constitute the majority of the YT haydur movement. At the very least she allowed me to see a version of Amber's content that actually had editing, instead of Amber uploading 15 minutes of banality, with no pacing, structure or content, that she only edited for 10 seconds to remove a shot of her feculent leggeeens.

Slow panning, zooming, jump cuts, and dated memes are pretty exhausting after the 2nd video if I will be honest. I appreciate the effort, I just didnt need to see anymore after her 5th video.

This is the only video of hers I liked, but I liked it a lot, especially the way it lines up with the music around the part when Amber admits she doesn't know what to do anymore.

I'm generally curious tbh on how is Katie W allowed to use so much copyrighted material on her videos and be monetized. Since a lot of youtubers have been complaining about the copyright system for a while where just having couple seconds of a song in the background can get you a strike, how is she getting away with it?

I still laugh at classic KatieW videos. Just because she made horribly ugly t-shirts with uncredited artwork doesn't change the fact that she is talented at editing for comedic effect.

I also hate the voice overs. The first video where she used it for the double date vlog was okay but it was never funny again and the videos using it are hard to watch.

Because her videos are the definition of fair use. It doesn't get much more transformative than taking a few seconds from 10 different videos and splicing them together to create something completely new. As for the copyright strikes, youtube bows down to huge conglomerates but does almost nothing to help its own creators.

I assume you're referencing the residual appearance of collagen stress, which never recovers lost elasticity that provides skin resiliance to force once gravity/excess weight gain pulls it past the point it can recover, over time? I could see some significant weight loss from obese medical history, maybe, but I would feel like the tats would really show that if they preceded the weight coming off and I don't really get that sense from the pictures presented here. The ink work could have been done post weight loss to blur it from easy notice I guess too though.

Commentary, or criticism (that's the big one here), is a Supreme Court adjudicated valid, protected, form of 1st admendment speech that allows you to use copyrighted content in a transformative work for those purposes. Katie would be safe arguing her use of these works to provide commentary and criticism of Amber's vlogs/public persona/mookbungs provides her 1st Admentdment free speech protection of her videos, and, she'd be correct. But @Damaged Goods already said that, I'm just cosigning their valid explaination of your query.
