I don't understand Katie's reasoning behind this, either. Why would anyone in their right mind even want to buy a shirt from a reaction channel? To publicly announce to the world that they like to watch people make fun of a 28 y/o housebound troll?
Just do a livestream with superchat enabled or set up a patreon/paypal like a normal person if you really want the money to go to better software.
 
Only gonna slightly PL on this one, but I promise it's relevant. I work with a lot of stock graphics, so I've seen it all. The basic bitch Boho-vibe bullshit with feathers and antlers can go ahead and die a swift death. But that's not my biggest problem here. Even though it has no relevance to her "brand" on Youtube, I could still respect the hustle, if she (and her husband) didn't try to pass it off as their own.

Anybody buying Katie W. merch should be aware that she's profiting off of work that doesn't belong to her. Her husband's contribution--at least for this masterpiece which you can own for just $40.99--was to replace the stock text with "Katie W."

Is there any way she could have bought the rights to that image? Edit: Wanted to add, great fucking catch dude. That's almost on par with the other farmer who figured out AL was using a scootypuff before she admitted it.

Also I like how it's just slapped on a tank top, without thought to cropping/placement or completing the feathers and making the design flow with the shirt. Gorl, just commission an actual graphic designer next time and you might make money.

She might have saved so much face if she did work with a graphic designer and made only 2-3 shirts... still a stupid ass idea anyway.
The moment she did her own separate stream after Ambercon, she was already inflating her head. Girl, we just love your damn edits.

There's different kinds of licensing for stock images. Typically: Standard and Extended/Enhanced. Standard licensing doesn't allow use in merchandise or promotional distribution. While Extended might, it's one of those policies that's so easily skirted around because nobody's really checking. Unless you're a bigger company that has to be more mindful of checks and balances, it's not hard to just purchase a Standard license at a fraction of the price. I can't prove that's what she did here, but it would be easy enough for her to show receipts, if enough people pushed for it. Pretending that her husband spent a lot of time creating it seems disingenuous at best.
