Can someone give a tl;dr on this Iron Liz character? She seems to be getting off fairly lightly on this board compared to most CA alumni, especially since she was apparently Linkara's SO and Linkara is a Hiroshima of fedora-tipping dorkdom (or is that just a character?). And apparently she's trans, but not a troon? Do we have any evidence she knows something interesting about Marz that we don't already?

Probably a bit of both. Linkara is almost definitely autistic, in the literal sense of the word. I have a friend with Auspergers and Linkara reminds me of him at times. He's probably also encouraged heavily to play up the fedoraness of his stage persona.

I remember reading during Change the Channel that basically all of CA had issues dealing with Linkara, but basically realized that he either didn't / couldn't understand the social cues they kept trying to give him and was genuinely not intending to be, well, Linkara.

Alot of people like her because I think she was on metokur's livestream once and she was pretty funny from what I've heard

Jim came on last minute cause he had IRL stuff to deal with. He'll be on a future stream to talk more about Marzgurl.
Dick Masterson showed up and made everything even better as he is wont to do.
Iron Liz has pretty good bantz for a tranny (a legit one, not the transtrenders we have threads on).

Isn't that dumb fat cunt going be sued by like 3 people? I know EVS is suing her for sure, TUG is thinking about it, and it is possible for Vic to add her to it.

Also, why the fuck haven't these platforms implemented a thing where if people mass report someone it basically contacts a human or results in a temporary suspension until its reviewed? These platforms are such fucking trash, Jesus christ.

If it were me, I'd also bring her dad into any lawsuit, especially if that is where she's getting her funding from.

Frankly, I think it's high time we started stripping away "platform" protections from these unaccountable social media megacorps. See how willing they are to play favorites with certain users when they risk taking on liability for potentially ANYTHING posted on their site if they don't provide the content neutrality that the term "platform" implies.
 
Should be simple: either you are a safe harbor and don't mod anything, or you are a content provider/curator and should be held as such the next time people find illegal/defaming stuff someone said on your website.
