I think we'll hear more about this guy if he keeps it up with the dumbassery on Twitter.

And it keeps on going. This time from the #comicsgate thread in BSS.

It is frankly baffling how they've attached their egos to a crappy Youtube lawyer's legal prowess.

1. No, we don't. It's simply refreshing to see a normal person with actual legal knowledge speak about it as opposed to the conga line of internet wikipedia lawyers and faux intellectuals the internet has had to rely on for years when it comes to this sort of thing.

2. Even if we did, it isn't as baffling or fucking hilarious (and/or depressing) as them attaching their egos to Lowtax :story:

Anyone with actual legal knowledge could point out what citations to legal precedents, descriptions of legal concepts, relations of the facts to the law, or any things whatsoever he says are inaccurate.

Nobody has, because they aren't. Instead, they spew a bunch of irrelevant nonsense or do utterly stupid things like misinterpret a Bar Association website (intended for the general public no less) that says he has no record of discipline as somehow meaning he's never tried a case.

They're just fucking dumb.

TUG said he would be going forward with litigation, especially after the CPS fiasco. So much law stuff! How will Nick ever find the time?

Lawsuits drag on forever and have little flashes of activity between month-long periods of nothing. Look Meyer v. Waid (the CG lawsuit) which was filed last September. The court hasn't even officially decided if that lawsuit should even be held in Texas (it should and will be) yet, which should give you an idea how long these things can drag on for.

Nick could realistically be following dozens of active suits and still have week-long spans of time where there's nothing to report. The Vic case only seems so active because a lot of stuff was archived here which made gathering evidence a lot easier and because idiots like Soye wouldn't take sound legal advice and shut the fuck up on Twitter.

No matter how much they scream "YOUTUBE LAWYER" won't make him any less of a actual lawyer.
Plus these SA idiots have all worshipped the mentally ill pedo pants shitter shmorky for years despite mountains of evidence, only recently they threw him out when the proof became utterly impossible to ignore
Who are they to scream "frankly this is disgusting they are supporting ____" at anyone?

If they disagree with what he's saying, they can simply cite a more appropriate precedent that should control the case. If they don't think Knox v. Taylor defines tortious interference in Texas, by all means, let us know your case that overruled it.

Anyone semi-literate can read the decision and understand it and distinguish it from what's going on here, or they could if it weren't the leading case and didn't spell doom for any of the defendants in these Texas TI cases.

Anyone know if this complaint is the same incoming one he talked a couple weeks ago which apparently had hundreds of pages of documentation (presumably screenshots of mean tweets)?

I thought that was some costhot.

These morons don't know that they have that question about whether you're represented by the lawyer for a reason. The moment you check no, they know you're just some disgruntled nut who has nothing to do with anything and treat it accordingly. You're either an angry losing litigant who got his ass handed to him or some completely unrelated whacko.
