Elon Musk getting involved in this would definitely be in the top 10 Anime plot twists, exceeded only by madoka magica

Now we just need notch to come and dab on #kickvic for the ultimate crossover
Now they're going to string him up for admiring Musk.

This was one hour ago. Just him weebing out. Best timeline would be of course, if he filled the warchest so Jamie, Monica, Marzturd, Eldershit and Ren can beg in the streets while ANN and i09 get gawkered. One can but dream.

Interesting that Vic decided to contact Elon. He's done basically nothing in the realm of basic socialization on twitter since this started. I wonder if this is due to prodding and good timing, or if this is a sign that Vic's mood has improved due to the lawsuit being filed and things getting moving in earnest now? If Elon and Vic team up, that's gonna be the anime twist of the century.
I think it's a couple things. Elon, even if not aware of the situation (something I doubt) would pretty quickly jump on board; so in that respect it's a power play. Nobody is going to beat Elon's support, period.Interesting that Vic decided to contact Elon. He's done basically nothing in the realm of basic socialization on twitter since this started. Noble / Lost Pause covered both Elon weebing out and Vic filing the lawsuit. I think he remembers that one of the ANN dudes called him a Nazi when he and Clownfish TV were pretty much pro Vic when the things started.

Well the GFM atm is sittin at a solid $140k so we will see what happens.
No, I was thinking that too. I'm sure Ty advised him on this, at the very least.Anyone else curious if this tweet was advised by counsel or is my autism just acting up? Ty&Co. have shown to be extremely capable with their PR to date...
Broly is my favorite Dragon age companion.New user here, finally decided to make an account after the years on and off of lurking various threads on this site. I've been blueballed for over 1000 pages (and now multiple subforums) as most of my friends won't really care until the lawsuit gets further along so I've had nobody to talk to about all this. I'm sorry in advance for dumb things said, I'll try to keep it to a minimum.
Anyways, I decided to take a look around at some of the articles posted about the lawsuit (would this go under the Sea Salt Mine thread? Not 100% sure but I'm leaning towards no because most of this isn't chimping out) and it's fun to see different rags' interpretations of the exact same information. There's Newsweek, which is only notable because the writer said the suit was only 1 million (instead of 1+), and they fucked up the title:

Variety's pretty boring, although some of the comments are funny, including one that claimed that Variety doxxxxxxed the defendants by attaching the opening complaint pdf. Polygon is Polygon, complete with saying that Vic got dropped from conventions due to "independent investigations" separate from the Funimation one and comments that were on the verge of giving me cancer. Comicbook.com includes a weird one-sentence advertisement for Super Dragon Ball Heroes, some digital app that "the anime is based on." Screenrant.com references a similar case with Brett Ratner, although the writer is doubtful that this case will go the same way. There's an article from slambuddy.com, but briefly looking over it I'm fairly certain that it's actually just the exact article written by the writer of Screenrant's article but with a couple extra words thrown in here and there at random, and with no formatting.
Is this of much value? Probably not, other than it's interesting that other than Polygon most of these seemed pretty neutral at worst. But hey, this lawsuit's gonna take a while so I thought this could be a fun thing to talk about to take up time.
I didn't archive any of this shit because I don't want to fuck it up on my first post, and also because who cares
That's cruel, suing a dead cat.Elon sending some lunch money would allow Ty to not only sue marzgurl but also her cat too. Hope springs eternal but I would not get your Hope's up. Elons handlers may try to talk him out of getting involved in a culture war

This is a renaissance piece compared to anything kickvic has been able to come up with. If they can even be creative in the first place.View attachment 733102
So, some weeb did a (prophetic) drawing of the ending of the webwars...it is soo bad, yet soo good at the same time. Meanwhile, the most amazing thing the Kickvic side has done...well, just look at Ms La Choy and Shame.
