MarzGurl on the chopping block and he's about to talk to someone who knows fun things about her.

Whose Bill Webb in the Tabletop industry? They have talked about them a few times in tweets.

Bill Webb is a game designer who has worked primarily on role-playing games.

Bill Webb and his old friend Clark Peterson formed Necromancer Games in the spring of 2000 to publish role-playing materials using the impending d20 license; on August 10, 2000, the same day Wizards of the Coast was to release the new Player's Handbook at GenCon 33, Peterson and Webb published a free PDF adventure called The Wizard's Amulet just a few minutes after midnight that same day.[1]:365 On September 13, 2000, Necromancer Games announced a partnership with White Wolf in forming their "Sword & Sorcery" imprint, and Peterson and Webb produced many of White Wolf's rulebooks including Creature Collection (2000), Relics & Rituals (2000), The Divine and The Defeated (2001), and Creature Collection II (2001).[1]:365

Webb has since cofounded Frog God Games focusing on adventures designed for both the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Swords & Wizardry.[2] Webb created Frog God Games to do his own publication; the parting was amicable and Necromancer passed on all rights to one of their final pseudo-publications, Slumbering Tsar, to Webb - complete with any Necromancer IP that might have been mixed in.[1]:368 Frog God also bought the existing Necromancer stock from White Wolf, Kenzer & Company and Troll Lord Games, with the books being warehoused in Webb's garage and started to sell the stock via eBay in May 2010.[1]

They ended up in the PNW because the Bay Area got too expensive. It was the far-right Christian Identity loons that moved there through a conspiracy to shift the local demographics.

Also, Portland and Seattle ain't cold. Freezing is cold to them. Total wusses.

A bunch of California 'fun and sun' types moved to rainforest because of cost rather than south into cheaper fun and sun? Or a bunch of hard left radicals followed their teachings to wipe out an environmentally incorrect industry? And who brainwashed them with that message?

The far right moved to Idaho.

Anyone here know how long until deposition?

That depends.

First, the damn thing needs to be served. They can try to dodge service... for a while. But the court will find you eventually.

Then the clock starts ticking for their response after they are served. They could run that out, or ask for extension.

Then it depends on how many of them try for TCPA dismissal, and how long that back and forth takes. Ty said Funimation will as a matter of course, probably. The others... unknown. Ron would be wasting money if he tried.

Soooo, "a ways." It's not gonna be super soon.

Was Todd removed from the credits of something?
I mentioned hearing something about it earlier but so far I haven't found anyone talking about it other that 2 people in Nick's chat.

Edit: I also can't find any proof other than those 2 people in Nick's chat.

Ron may insist on doing it anyway because he's just dumb and because he really has no other move. He's going to get utterly fucked if it goes to trial. He's going to get fucked if he goes to trial after losing the TCPA which he'll lose, too, but if he's really serious about his bravado, he'll just have to try for it.

The TCPA thing DOES NOT WORK ON THIS COMPLAINT.

It may not be bulletproof by itself, although it is damn near that, but if they deal with a TCPA, they can simply respond by turning their notice pleading into something more along the lines of a fact pleading by showing as many of their cards as they have to just to flesh out the case.

The pleading is prima facie, though. They're not going to have to do much to back it up, and nothing they have to produce to back it up is going to help the defense at all.

The plaintiff advantage for a relatively terse notice pleading like this is that Vic doesn't have to show all his cards up front. They don't get to know what the plaintiff already has. They'll have to pay for every little bit of it.

But the court will find you eventually.

Still over 7,000 and it's 3:54 a.m. EST and nearly four hours into the stream.

SF isn't fun and sun. It's rainy and cool generally. Anyways, southern CA was too expensive. Portland was cheap in the 70's so they went there. Similar climate, tolerant culture, cheap housing. There isn't any documentation to support anything beyond that.

The far right moved to Idaho.
Idaho is PNW. It's not just a coastal strip west of the Cascades, y'know. It's three states and arguably western MT. Also, those nuts didn't stay on their side of the state line either. The panhandle is pretty narrow so there was quite a bit of spillage to both sides. Their idea was to take over a region. As such gave no shits about state borders and had a strong distaste for the southern part of Idaho as they aren't fans of the LDS church.

Anyways, the PNW got royally fucked in the 70's with Californian weirdos on both sides moving in and ruining places with their radical politics.

From superchat: "Does 'he needed killing get you off in Texas?' It gets you off anywhere, but in Texas it gets you off harder."

Unless I'm horrible at this there's no mentions of Todd being removed anywhere. I checked all the usual Twitter people who talk about this, mentions of Todd on Twitter for the past couple of days, a couple of Reddit pages, Google pages that mention Todd in the past week, and Youtube videos in the past week... Nothing mentioned him being removed.
