That FB repost is like a litmus test for idiocy and hypocrisy. All the people I've been longing to unfollow reposted it!
Yeah that post has been making the rounds, and it really is kind of stupid and it reeks of "wow I'm inadequate, please don't let your kids call my kids out on it." Christ my nieces and nephews were too smart to believe in Santa this year anyway, but I still managed to convince them that he exists.

"Santa is real but come on, lets be honest here, do you really think anyone can be everywhere in the world in one night? That's silly, so instead what he does is gets your moms and dads to help him out. That's why you caught your mom putting presents under the tree Sara, because she's Santa's assistant, because he's really really busy handling North Pole stuff. You should believe me, I live really close to the North Pole, remember that picture I sent you of me next to the North Pole sign?"

And it works because then when they inevitably ask why the kid down the block got an Xbone and they didn't, you explain that Santa and their mom and dad all agreed they were bad kids and that they are on the naughty list. Yeah I'm a terrible uncle, why do you ask?

Edit: I had an actual point, and it is that I don't think any kid really feels discriminated against by Santa, and if this is really a problem then perhaps you should, I don't know, talk to your kids? Treat them with respect and not assume they're stupid enough to believe shit like that? Some parenting things are probably easier said than done (I'm not a parent so I wouldn't know) but talking to your kids with honesty and respect can't possibly be that hard.

Maybe this is just my friends' experiences but the ones who grew up poor or struggling to make it didn't treat Christmas as a list for demands even when they did believe in Santa. Then again their parents also made a big effort to make birthdays and holidays extra special, often times sacrificing stuff for themselves or working extra shifts...

Yep, spoiled and sheltered man/woman-children who never had any responsibilities seem to demand a lot for christmas even in their 20s/30s.

After months of being generally AWOL from this entire forum, I've finally caught up with my very favorite thread. Holy crap! Does anyone have updates on Madd? Was he really on six different (seemingly) antidepressants? There's no way any one doctor would prescribe that much medication to someone - especially someone who looks like they're one bad day away from being the next spree-shooter.
Also real pics of Gracie! They're....underwhelming to say the least. I'm not gonna pass judgement on an infant but goddamn it if she won't end up looking like Kai.

Madd is on Zoloft, Abilify, and some other medication that starts with a C that I forgot the name of. I only remember the first two because I'm on those myself. |:(

In other news, there was a picture of Kim Jong Un wearing makeup on my Facebook newsfeed. It reminded me of Kai so I posted on Guru Gossiper so people could snark about it. And this is what one person did to the picture.

So I saw this pic of Kai and I said to myself, "How could anybody think that looks good?"

I completely forgot all about it until I saw this monstrosity on Sephora's website:

Maybe Kailyn IS the fashionable one, and I just have no idea what looks good anymore?

Betting imaginary money Kai got up at 4am to open up all her new pallids. Gracie probably got 1 toy that is too young for her.

I haven't had the time to read guru gossip but as of a few days ago, Madd and his mom was supposed to come over for an hour or so. Lovely.

Oof, that's a forced smile. Poor Kai, she really wants too look normal and happy, but her life doesn't seem to want to be heading that way.

"I got a smart TV yay!"

A Vizio TV like this costs like $290. And she got a lot of makeup for Christmas too.

Kailyn also got some jewelery from "Gracie", a makeup book, and a 2015 calender too. Is it normal for only children to get spoiled like this on Christmas?
