How was their boy child, who has only a brother at home, even getting all this girly stuff to wear? The only source is if the parents are already buying it for him and encouraging this. Combined with "we never taught him to act like a boy" but conveniently not saying "we never taught him to act according to stereotypes," she's all but admitting she taught him all of his "girl-like" traits.

I'm not expert on children but I'm not sure even smart 3 year olds are able to verbally express themselves like that. Combine that with @Abortions4All 's observation about where the girl clothes are coming from in a household with no girls and I'm thinking munchausen by proxy.

Well, according to the parent, the kid has been saying this for two years, since he was one, so it's obviously a very precocious child. In fact, his very first words at 12 months were "I'm a dyke daddy trapped in a boy's body, punch a TERF." Of course, all he actually said was "da-da," but it was clear what he meant.

But seriously, I don't think that's an outlandish/unrealistic thing for an articulate three-year-old to say. But it is completely fucking outlandish for a parent to take it seriously. I found it more developmentally inappropriate that the kid is in diapers with apparently no plans to potty train him.

Yeah, it's not too odd when you consider how some parents raise their kids re: gender now. Some men have a penis and also some women have a penis idk Johnny you figure it out. This shit can be confusing for adults, now imagine being 3 years old.
