I'm only asking because it's been a while since I payed any direct attention to the notable individuals that were involved in #GamerGate in someway.

The tl;dr of it, unless I'm drastically remembering the timeline, was that GG popped off immediately before or right in the middle of a pregnancy scare. Eron had found out she was cheating and presumably it was with the people that GG uncovered she was fooling around with. I can't remember individuals, though I do recall that it was one of GG/KiA's earliest developments and was a surprise to have her essentially confirm it herself in the book.

How is she not been blacklisted yet?
She isn't blacklisted, but she has no chance of getting a real game industry job. I forget the exact quote or where it came from, but most of the has-beens of GamerGate are basically unemployable now. Being consider "too toxic" or "too hot to handle". The drama and chaos they cause means that they will be politely turned down for any job they apply for. They are proven liabilities that even a quick google search will reveal.

Only her orbiters and those looking to do stunt casting would ever consider her for a given job. Even her Goddess Mode comic was announced the same day a female CEO was fired.

I wonder why nobody changed the wikipedia article to be more neutral. Ryulong has been banned, and I can't imagine anybody else giving a shit about Zoe. Wikipedia's probably cucked plenty without Ryulong, probably.
I remember Ryulong getting some of his friends to camp the page in his absence, though I don't know if they stuck around.

I think it came up in the case too or something, I know some word went around that she had an abortion and Greyson paying for it long before the book came out, it was never really paraded around or anything. Eron was aware as I recall. But we are talking about about someone who often had a habit of creating tragic reasons to skip things or look more helpless than she actually is. So pinch of salt.

I remember that the guy who does One Angry Gamer made a post about Grayson sending Zoe $850 (I don’t remember how he found out about it). But he later removed it for some reason, it was really weird. You could probably find an archived version by searching KIA.

I'm pretty sure it was part of the patreon leaks, but it could have been something else. I think he did one large payment, then shifted down to a smaller one or just got off, back when they didn't have such strict privacy controls.

So on a scale of low level autistics to Buffalo Bill serial killer, how messed up would Zoe’s children be?

(If she can reproduce at all, I assume that shit is as barren as her brain cell count)

It was Nathan Greyson, right at the beginning of Gamergate, paid her the exact amount for an abortion. When confronted with questions regarding the “journalistic ethics” of paying your subject, the Kotaku EiC, Totillo looked into and noped the fuck out, declaring questions regarding it off limits. It was astonishingly the one subject that even the Gamergate forums declared off limits, for some absurd reason. As it showed in every way possible what the truth regarding Chelsea and her use and abuse approach to dating was.

It’s been reasonably speculated and reported that her Godess Mode Comic was approved solely as PR in order to generate nerd anger and controversy, in order to mask DC’s decision to fire their female CEO.

IIRC, Eron chimed in on this when asked about it around the time that his court case was gaining steam. Chelsea got knocked up during the time she was sleeping with him AND the Five Guys, so he wasn't sure who the father was. He also mentioned that the last time he was in contact with the semen receptacle, that Chelsea hinted to him that she aborted the baby because she thought Eron was the father.

Zoe's a seriously unreliable narrator though, given all that shit she made up about how Eron was abusive in total contrast to her attitude in private messages at the time. She probably didn't even know whose kid it was, given she was fucking half of San Francisco at at the time.

Nobody talked much about Goddess Mode #4, I guess because it's an entire issue exposition dump in which nothing actually happens, but it's worth analysing because it's a doozie on the meta level. It doesn't take much insight to tell the main character, the "oracle of garbage", is a massive mary sue not least because that's the only thing Zoe knows how to write. However, this issue lays the whole story bare and it's basically the same story that every manic pixie pseudo-game designer of Zoe's generation tells, I guess we might call it the millennial monomyth. The basic tenets of the story go that in days of yore, the internet was where all the cool kids hung out (it's worth noting that psued's days of yore are ALWAYS post the eternal September) but that now the internet has been co-opted by normies and Nazis, but that they're not part of system man and they're still cool. Basically, they're all pining for when they were 12 and had downloaded MIRC and hung out in edgy channels where they pretended to be lesbians, but now they're all smoking more pole than a five dollar hooker.

Zoe's take on the monomyth comes with a serious dose of narcissism and saviour complex. The whole thing can be summed up as "How did I, a weak and foolish girl, ever find the inner strength to take on internet bullies and rescue so many damsels?" I think this one panel can stand as a synecdoche:

Imagine the sheer balls necessary to write that about your own Mary Sue.

The only notable thing about the plot of Goddess Mode is that it has so far avoided the obvious pratfall of the evil mega-corporation being behind everything, and only because it decided they should be obliviously responsible, rather than deliberately. So far, a grand lot of nothing has actually happened, though.

You're right that a lot of it is a sort of awkward mourning of an internet that never was, for a role they never actually played. The bigger problem is that so far there's been like no action. Not just in the sense of there's little in the way of dynamic action scenes, but our heroes are defined more by sitting around in a bar than doing literally anything else.

Of all the tales Chelsay tells, though, that she was such a complete slut that she got knocked up with some pregancy she had to abort and had no clue who the father was is completely believable. This whore has needed multiple abortions, that is nothing surprising.

I thought I'd like to try mixing the You Cheated copypasta with Zoe Quinn.

I'm surprised people think she was really pregnant and it wasn't just another scam to get some guy to pay her money for an "abortion". Fuck, I bet she's pulled that scam on half a dozen guys over the years.

And if she was actually pregnant and had an abortion, she'd broadcast that shit like crazy for e-cred.

She mentioned the abortion in the book, for what it's worth.
