I understand this isn't made to be used, I think I just have a low tolerance for fancy presentation stuff like this. I still really like the engravings on it though.

Agreed CZ75s are fucking amazing guns, and it's definitely on my list of guns to own someday.

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic visited the US recently and presented Trump with a custom CZ75, and it is fucking gaudy and beautiful.

If we get in another big-boy pants shooting war while Trump's still in office I want him to show up to a troop visit at the front with this in a chest rig.

I want to add these bad boys to my collection one day:

I have this one. With the improved trigger, it's a beast.

Gun thread, ammo tangent. Do you roll your own?

Started reloading last year, I've gone from just .223 and 9mm to .40, .45 (I don't even have a gun to shoot it, I just pick up so much .45 brass I figured I might as well start loading it for later) and .300 Blackout.

It's very relaxing and a good activity to do while watching something vaguely interesting but not too interesting on Netflix or whatever. So far I've pumped out a good 3-3.5k rounds on this single stage press, mostly 9mm and .223, and I'm waiting on an order of 1500 200 grain .308 bullets to do some subsonic .300BLK loads to shoot very quietly suppressed.

Had to let this old beast go, for something a bit more punchy & maneuveable.

It was utterly reliable, heavy, & stupid fun; but not very useful or attractive..... like the secret fatty love story everyone has.

The cheap red-dot, sling, and bipod in this listing photo were included with the rifle because I needed rid of them.

Somehow I've ended up with so many freebie secondhand accessories/parts, I've started giving them away myself.

You have random gun parts laying around and donate them?

I'll give you my address, and just don't tell the Mrs she's already mad the hoard is out growing my car part hoard.

Nothing too much to report as far as new stuff, I have really fallen in love with my MAS36 tho and shoot it every time I've gone to the range since I've bought it. Not sure what's next on the list, I'm really wanting one of those PSA MP5s when they come, but there's some mil surp I want to hunt down. I should also stop buying shit I need another safe... I have a mk2 sten to finish...

I showed somebody at Cabelas' the other day how the MAS36's stowable bayonet worked and they were floored.

I had been thinking about an optic for my 509 Tactical for a while, flip-flopped between Burris, Vortex, and Trijicon, couldn't make up my mind, then I compared the warranties.

Vortex, even if you fuck up and drop it and break it, they'll replace it no questions asked. So my 509T now has a Venom 3MOA on it. I haven't taken it to the range to get it fine tuned but I used my laser bore sighter to at least get it in close.

It's an M38, traded some marine binos for the thing.

I enjoyed taking it to outdoor ranges with parking close by; the game became how many car alarms I could set off.

But indoor ranges?
Just once.
One round.

That was with foam plugs and muffs.

Hello everyone.
I'm one of them evil gun nuts that has some black rifles........Just got done reading the last 2 years worth on this thread. Verrrry interesting....

Club Sandwich, you sound like a guru. You just know too much, and I can't follow half of it, however I believe you know whereof you speak.

I design armored vehicle for the DOD, including armaments aboard up to 40mm grenade launchers down to 7.62 machine guns. Mostly the customer's favorite always seems to be Ma Deuce. Let's face it, 1/2" bullet that will penetrate 1" Armox steel is just amazing, and pretty much controlled by joysticks in the cockpit.

But even with that background I crave simplicity, and for me heavy is good. GP100, SP101, Model60 S&W. My wife likes semi auto, Ruger SR9c and LC9s. My favorite long gun is the Marlin 1895 GBL, and with a Buffalo Bore 405gr hard cast flat nose that runs at 2000fps, it will hurt bad anywhere you're hit. My wife's long gun is a DPMS 5.56, and my semi-Auto is the DPMS Oracle in 7.62.

Also have some fun guns like a 70yr old over and under Stevens with 22LR over 410 shotshell, also a Chiappa single shot survival rifle in 22LR that folds in half. A Mossberg AR15 style 22LR for pests and Mossberg 88 with #3 Buck for home defense. I even have a Hi-Point C9 (VERY inaccurate) and a Taurus 85 , plus 3 BB guns for when my little nephews come over.

Enough ammo to supply New Zealand....... ??

My calibers, not counting airguns or shotguns. My wife and I are both proficient......

California sucks the big one.
Those assholes really fucked up the state and now they're propagating like vermin into other western states. The whole state should be walled off, except on the southern border.

What amazed me about the 10 round mags was that it was the Ninth Circuit that made this ruling.

It wasn't the Ninth Circuit yet. Also the Ninth Circuit really depends on where you get a panel from. It contains plenty of conservatives like Bybee and O'Scannlain and contains states like Arizona and Alaska which are anything but right wing. It's just a mess and too big in general and should be split up.

" It contains plenty of conservatives like Bybee and O'Scannlain and contains states like Arizona and Alaska "

Did not know that. Thanks....

PS. How do you bookmark threads?

Aren't they just finding all the ones that fell off their boats?
The law was that you could keep any pre-ban (2001) 11+ mags you already had, but they could no longer be imported, sold or transfered within the state. Bitches tried pushing their luck, and passed new regs in 2016 that requires all currently-owned 11+ mags to be surrendered or destroyed. Law was challenged on 2nd, 5th and 14th Amendment grounds. Judge Benitez sides with plaintiffs and the state gets BTFO to the point of declaring the entire 11+ ban unconstitutional.* Entire warehouses full of 30rnd mags drain into Cali over a 48-hour period.

*This is not 100%, but it does seem to be a fair reading of the decision. Not all vendors are selling until the DOJ issues a statement.

For any Cali Kiwis that like the pew-pews, a list of vendors and their current positions on selling 11+ mags:

New Zealand's latest gun legislation includes:

  1. up to 2 years imprisonment for selling or possessing a prohibited part
  2. up to 5 years for possessing a prohibited gun
  3. up to 7 years for pointing a prohibited gun at someone.

Kiwi gun owners seem very timid and obedient to the state. Am I wrong on this?
I hear no voices from there against these laws......

Ahhhhh.....the good old days in America, when family love and togetherness looked like this:
