The suspects were detained in the Frankfurt region.

Ten people have been arrested in Germany on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack using a car and guns with the aim of killing as many people as possible.
Several of the suspects, aged 20 to 42, were German citizens, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office said, without naming the other nationalities.
“They are believed to have agreed to carry out an Islamist, terrorist attack using a vehicle and guns that would kill as many ‘non-believers’ as possible,” the statement from the Frankfurt prosecutors said.

Oh yeah, maybe this one will be what wakes them up. Not the dozens before it across Europe or the thousands in the middle-East, Africa and South East Asia.

No, this is going to be as heavily ignored and memory-holed as possible by the mainstream. Should anyone bring it up, it'll simply be dismissed because the police actually caught them this time. So what's there to be afraid of? Nevermind that there are likely dozens of people harbouring extremest views and ready to act on them in the name of Islam, the police will always protect us! Remember when some UK politician was bragging about stopping a terror plot every month as if that was good thing?!

Europe isn't going to wake up until something really horrible happens like if the Muslims blow up the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre.

That wouldn't wake them up either. It'd be "Well, they were symbols of white supremacy and opulence, we should do without them".

Nah, won't work. The only thing that would have an effect is if they successfully went after left-of-center politicians or to a lesser extent, lefty journalists. The politicians have power and look after themselves and the press are their mouthpiece, if the press starts getting massacred they will beat on the war drums to turn public opinion and force the hands of the politicians, if politicians starts getting seriously fucked up to the point where there's not enough local Secret Service equivalents to shoot and kill the trucks of peace then we might suddenly see military on the streets, martial law, hastily constructed internment camps and giant catapults for fast deportation.

I dunno, didn't Antifa beat the crap out of journalists, who pretty much kept their mouths shut since they are their PR firm anyway.

Yeah, but they were either the WRONG KIND of journalist, or just a one-off, fluke of nature, lone bike lock wielder victim who probably deserved it anyways for getting in the way of the narrative.

They are already attacking jews in the street for wearing yarmulkes and fucking up synagogues and cemetaries, rarely do you see daycare centers with bulletproof glass or schools with armed guards and airlocks outside of the jewish population in Europe. If the perpetrators aren't extreme right then few gives a shit.
