What is it with her and 20 min videos? The only time I can enjoy her 5+ min videos is when there's a binge involved. She's somehow more boring than Al.
If Chantal is trying to game the algorithm, (:optimistic:) 15-20 minute videos tend to be what it favors IIRC. Or she's just a smooth brained sped who thinks she's the most interesting person in the world.

Given how she's been looking on camera lately, I honestly expected her to weigh more than that. I guess her face and Becky-style neck waddle has just been especially bloated recently. Since it's pretty obvious she's been hard core binging lately in her new fast-food-mobile, I'm guessing the bloat is from lots of high sodium food.

Putting in my vote right now, she's not going to stick to this diet past a week (at the :optimistic: most).
 
She can’t even stick to a plan to go to the gym 3 times a week, where she walks on a treadmill at a very slow pace. This isnt any different, I’m not buying what you’re selling.

I think this plan could work for someone if they needed accountability. Say someone with no family or friends who have a healthy diet, or someone who genuinely doesn't know anything about nutrition. Having a professional give you a set of rules and having to explain to them why you failed is probably easier than doing it all on your own.

But... Chantal has accountability already because she's put everything online and has people yelling at her every time she fails. She's gone through all the standard nutrition advice, given up, and ended on ludicrous fad diets.

You guys are right, there's nothing new here for her. No hope.

She already admitted to going to Starbucks this morning and having a large drink and those egg bites for breakfast. Has anyone taken down what she ate and compared it to the guide? I am POSITIVE she calculated things incorrectly.

Man that's fantastic. Her fat could form an entire second human if she ever let it go.

It'd probably have a better personality too, even if it just sat there and glooped wordlessly.
 
Well. Where to begin.
First, no way her BP is "fine" -no one with that much fat has a normal BP. So, lie number 1.
Second, no way she is 369 pounds. Lie number 2.
Third, we've seen this before. Nothing Chantal loves more than books & charts & plans. However, once she actually ACCURATELY measures 1 TB or a 1/2 cup of something -she'll be done.
She is already dreaming of what she's going to eat for her birthday dinner out & buying cheese at Costco. But, I guess it won't matter, as I don't see her lasting on this diet till then.
But the biggest lie of all? This quack tells her that with this diet she may be able to shrink her cysts. Boy, she just loved that.
So her GP tells her to eat whole foods & stay away from fried things & that she's pre diabetic, this guy sells her a notebook that tells her to measure everything & cut carbs & keep a food diary -but since she just went shopping, this new diet will have to wait until she eats everything already in her house. I'm just wondering why she doesn't already have healthy things in her kitchen. I notice she mentioned 'no chips' allowed on this new plan, so those bags of (Vegan) Doritos will have to be eaten fast. LOL
March is more fun than expected.
 
Two Bacon and Gruyere Egg Bites
Grande iced coffee with cream and 2 pumps SF vanilla
Breakfast total ala Chantal: 3 protein 4 fat

1c Broccoli
4oz chicken breast
2oz brick cheese
yellow mustard
Lunch ala Chantal: 5 protein 0 fats

2oz chicken breast
1tbsp mayo, sriracha
broccoli
sugar-free cherry jello
2tbsp whipped cream
Total: protein 10 fats 7 carbs 0

Here is what she claimed was her food diary for the day.
We can tell she's fudging the numbers without even tallying everything up. She stated that both an ounce of chicken and an ounce of cheese were both equal to one serving of protein each. Well for lunch she had 4oz chicken and 2oz cheese, and calculated it as only 5 protein. I am positive the Starbucks calculation is off also.
 
Put me down for 11 days on the diet.

That's 11 days a publicly pretending to be on the diet that is.

She probably was eating a big ol Arby's BnC in her food wagon while reading the food guide.
 
the smugness was on a whole new level in this video. like she was trying to pass off "oh, I'm so okay with following a food guide and listening to other people's rules" but her shifty eyes gave her away. she hates the idea of a food plan and will continue to cut corners and make excuses to herself
 
No chance this diet works, and not even just because Chantal is Chantal. This diet sounds incredibly easy to abuse if it's based on servings and not calories. Someone who ate themselves to 400 lbs is going to be a very poor judge - whether willfully or actually ignorant - of what "one serving" of something is.

I'm honestly surprised that a weight loss clinic would peddle this. Is it the right message? Sure. Would it work for weight loss if accurately followed? Sure. But you're dealing with people who ate themselves to four hundred fucking pounds and asking them to measure servings. These people have no concept of what a normal meal looks like.
 
I knew there was no chance for her when she said she had to eat all the food she’d bought first.with no sense of urgency, of importance, of sacrifice. No plans to give the junk to a neighbor, Peetz, or a shelter. No she has to eat it first. And thus starts the failure.

I’d like to be a fruitfly on her wall the first time she accurately measures a tablespoon or two ounces. She’ll immediately add just a little more, can’t hurt. Chantel eats with her eyes as much as anything else and she will not feel “satiety” with the small amount she’s going to have to eat to make progress. She eats those giant burgers with large sides and large drinks for a reason. I think that reason is more important than her desire for cute clothing.
