He says it like it's a badge of honor. It's not that he doesn't want to. He's just too incompetent to do so. If he implemented those scripts that auto displayed all tips and bits he would have a far easier time tracking every little sliver of money that rolls in instead of just being alerted to a tip like a monkey being tasered and typing it out manually.

It's not a surprise and it's completely on-brand for him as the weirdest streamer and youtuber; he doesn't watch streams, he doesn't watch youtube.

And he doesn't listen to music. Or watch tv besides wrestling. Or go out to see new movies. Or go outside his house. Or read books. Or practice a craft or hobby. Or talk to his girlfriend. Or exercise.

What does he do in the time he's offstream and not jerking off or paying bills?

Phil doesn't "bother updating stuff on it cuz it would just fuck'n screw the computer up". He said this after his out of date microphone driver cut out his audio, forcing him to communicate his "reactionary commentary" through text on the screen ?
 
The DSP drama is something I want to know better, but it's one of the biggest threads on the farm and I have no clue where to start.
Is there an event or story that best sums up the palpable disgust you guys have for the dark side?

I think he will fare much better if he just rolled with the memes. He fancied himself a bad boy trash talker who placed 4th at Evo and has a moniker like the King of Hate. Kind of backed himself into a corner with the persona he tried to roll with and his ego wouldn't let him U turn otherwise.

He drinks and he hoards things.

It's absolutely amazing that a guy like DSP makes $100K+ per year, never leaves his house, and yet is in debt up to his eyeballs.
 
Another thing about DSP being abusive, I'm reminded of the story about how when Kat was sick and couldn't breathe properly, he said she would go and sleep downstairs near the fireplace, which he said was good because she was keeping him up and now he could get some sleep. I don't really believe that she made that decision instead of him suggesting (basically telling) to her to sleep downstairs so he can get some sleep.

I mean I can see the scenario play out in my head of him passively whining about how its sucks shes sick and how rough tomorrow is going to be for him at "work" because shes keeping him up, ever so slightly nudging her into feeling like a piece of shit for letting her cold affect her man.
 
I'm still laughing that he sold a lifetime of collecting DVDs and blu ray for $1 each because he's too paranoid to sell them on Ebay or elsewhere that will get him good selling prices for his shit, and also I bet he was too lazy to mail the items out to buyers himself. Just... fucking hell, he has terrible money management skills.

Closest I can tell what 'WAF Sport' is, is: A deleted channel as there seems to be no current channel with that name during a channel search of YouTube, but what does pop up at the top of the search are channels and videos for the 'World Armwrestling Federation'. . .soo more close-ups of giant veiny muscles on men grunting, struggling, and holding each other close while staring deeply into one another's eyes to decide who gets to be the 'top'. From now on my head-canon is that this is what DSP was watching during 'the incident'.

Edit: On further inspection the 'World Armwrestling Federation' could be men or women armwrestling, so my personal musings about Phil jerking it to drawings of She-Hulk on DeviantArt still seem somewhat in the realm of possibility.

So gab released something called dissenter which lets you comment on anything, seems the extension even goes as far as to add a button next to the sub button that lets you comment on videos even if the comments have been disabled...

So... guess thats another L for Dave...

At this point, one can only hope that someone will come along to create a parody of DSP, sort of like those who parodied Irate Gamer. It would certainly make things more interesting.

If Phil had interests outside of streaming, and talked with his audience about it, it might make him seem more relatable and less toxic. But he won't.

To be fair, he's probably too busy raising a family and contributing to society to be paying enough attention to Phil's dumb shit to make good parody videos.
 
Who gives a shit what he watched and what he's subscribed to? What about the real issue, how much money did he make today? Cuz that's all Phil cares about. And I was too busy being a booksmart nudnick detractor at my 9-5 to follow the all day memory lane begathon
